Abstract
본 발명은 전송할 영상의 화질을 높일 수 잇는 동영상을 부호화하는 장치에 관한 것으로서, 종래에는 제2파라메터 저장부(24)가 출력하는 파라메터가 자주 변하면 이때마다 저장부(26)는 새로운 파라메터를 가변 길이 부호화부(16)에 인가함으로써 결국, 거대 구획의 헤더비트량 증가로 최종적인 전송 비트량이 많아지게 되는 결점이 있으며, 또한, 양자화부(14)도 제2파라메터 저장부(24)가 출력하는 파라메터가 자주 변하면 이때마다 양자화 스케일을 다르게 해서 양자화하기 때문에 복원되는 화상의 화질이 떨어지게 되는 결점이 있었으나, 본 발명에서는 양자화 스케일을 결정하는 제2파라메터 계산부(64)의 출력인 파라메터의 변화빈도를 비교부(68)에서 절충시켜 조정하도록 해서 그 파라메터 변화에 따른 양자화부(54)의 양자화 스케일 및 가변 길이 부호화부(5)의 파라메터 전송을 제어함으로써 상기 결점을 개선시킬 수 있는 것이다.The present invention relates to an apparatus for encoding a video that can improve the quality of a video to be transmitted.
