Claims (9)
- 대상 스크린(41), 이미지 스크린 및 상기 대상 스크린의 이미지를 상기 이미지 스크린상에 투사하도록 구성된 투사 장치(40)를 포함하며, 상기 이미지 스크린이 구배 굴절률 렌즈(M)의 어레이를 포함하는 표시 장치에 있어서, 상기 이미지 스크린은 일체로된 투명 광중합체 시이트를 포함하고 상기 렌즈 각각은 상기 시이트의 표면사이로 연장되어 있는 상기 시이트의 각각의 영역에 의해 형성되어 있으며 상기 영역에서의 굴절률은 상기 렌즈 각각의 광축으로부터의 방사 거리에 따라 단계적으로 변화하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 표시 장치는 3차원 표시 장치로서, 상기 장치는 각각이 2가지 광학 이미지 각각의 공급원으로서 사용되는 2개의 상기 대상 스크린을 포함하며, 상기 투사 장치는 광을 상기 대상 스크린으로부터 상기 시이트로 향하도록 구성되어 있고, 상기 구성은, 양안 시력을 지니고 눈이 상기 어레이에 대하여 미리 결정된 위치 또는 각이 진 배향에 정해져 있는 사람이 상기 스크린을 볼 때, 한측 눈이 상기 어레이에서의 하나씩 걸른 상기 렌즈에 의해 구성되는 제1세트의 구배 굴절률 렌즈로부터 광을 받고, 타측 눈이 상기 어레이에서의 나머지 렌즈에 의해 구성되는 제2세트의 보족적인 구배 굴절률 렌즈로부터 광을 받아서, 결과적으로는 각각의 눈이 상기 스크린의 범위내에서 상기 2가지 이미지 각각을 인식하여, 상기 2가지 이미지가 사람의 두 눈에 의해 인식될 3차원 장면의 각각의 이미지와 상응할 경우 상기 구배 굴절률 렌즈의 어레이를 지니는 시이트를 보는 사람이 상기 어레이의 영역에서의 상응하는 3차원 이미지를 인식하도록 이루어져 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 이미지 스크린은 후면 투사(rear projection) 스크린인 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 투명 광중합체 시이트는 그의 한측 표면에 고정된 반사층을 지니며, 상기 투사장치는, 상기 반사층을 향하고 상기 투명 광중합체를 통해 반사되도록 상기 투명 광중합체의 시이트를 통해 광을 투사시키도록 구성되어 있고, 상기 이미지 스크린은 정면 투사(front projection) 스크린인 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 투명 광중합체는 폴리아크릴아미드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 광중합화 가능한 단량체의 층을 기층에 도포하는 단계 및 어레이를 이루도록 구배 굴절률 렌즈를 제공하는 방식으로 선택적으로 상기 단량체를 중합화시키기 위하여 상기 층의 표면에 걸쳐 점(spot)으로 구성된 어레이의 각각에서 자외선에 상기 층을 선택적으로 노출시키는 단계, 및 상기 광중합체 층을 자외선에 대하여 차폐 노출되게 하는 단계를 포함하는 공정으로 대상 스크린을 제공하는 단계, 투사 스크린을 제공하는 단계, 및 이미지 스크린을 제공하는 단계를 포함하는, 청구범위 제1항에 따른 표시 장치를 제조하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 자외선에 대한 선택적인 노출후에 및 상기 차폐 노출전에, 상기 층의 재료는 상기 구배 굴절률 렌즈의 영역내에서의 굴절률의 변화를 높이도록 연화 온도까지 가열되는, 청구범위 제1항에 따른 표시 장치를 제조하는 방법.
- 제6항 또는 제7항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 선택적인 노출은, 완전히 불투명한 도트(dot)로 구성되는 어레이를 지니는 투명한 스크린, 또는 투명 구멍으로 구성된 어레이를 지니는 불투명한 스크린을 포함하고 상기 층과 친밀한 접촉관계를 갖는 마스크를 통해 상기 층을 자외선 광에 노출시킴으로써 달성되는, 청구범위 제1항에 따른 표시장치를 제조하는 방법.
- 제6항 또는 제7항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 선택적인 노출은, 자외선 레이저의 비임에 대하여 상기 층의 개별적인 렌즈 영역을 1개씩 노출시키고 각각의 렌즈의 영역에 걸쳐 노출시 바람직한 변화를 제공하도록 상기 레이저 비임의 단면에 걸친 광의 강도 변화를 이용함으로써 달성되는, 청구범위 제1항에 따른 표시장치를 제조하는 방법.
