Abstract

본 발명은 완충장치를 구비한 스티어링 휠 기어박스에 관한 것으로서, 볼조인트 연결부와 접촉되는 랙 스톱퍼의 전면부에 완충재가 일측에 조합된 피스톤로드 및 스프링으로 이루어진 완충장치를 설치하고, 이것에 볼조인트 연결부가 직접 부딪히게 하여 이때 발생되는 충격이나 소음이 감소될 수 있게 함으로써, 운전자나 탑승자에게 주는 불쾌감을 완전히 배제하고 그래서, 더욱 안락하고 편안한 승차감을 줄 수 있는 완충장치를 구비한 스티어링 휠 기어박스를 제공하고자 한 것이다.

제1도는 자동차의 스티어링 휠 기어박스를 나타낸 개략도, 제2도는 본 발명에 따른 스티어링 휠 기어박스 구조를 나타낸 일부 단면도, 제3도는 종래 스티어링 휠 기어박스 구조를 나타낸 일부 단면도.

Claims (2)

  1. 양편의 볼조인트 연결부(11)를 통해 타이로드(12)와 연동되면서, 소정의 행정으로 슬라이드 직선운동 가능한 랙(13)과, 상기 랙(13)의 좌우한계 행정거리를 제한해 주는 랙스톱퍼(14)와, 이것들을 감싸고 있는 실린더 튜브(15)로 구성되어 상기 랙(12)의 운동을 이용하여 스티어링 휠의 조작력을 바퀴로 전달할 수 있도록 한 스티어링 휠 기어박스(10)에 있어서, 상기 볼조인트 연결부(11)와 접촉되는 랙스톱퍼(14)의 전면부에는 스프링(21)에 의해 전방탄성지지를 받는 피스톤로드(22)와, 이것들을 포함하는 하우징(23)으로 구성된 완충장치(20)를 설치하고 여기에 볼조인트 연결부(11)가 직접 접촉가능하게 하여 상기 피스톤로드(22)의 완충작용으로 충격을 저감시킬 수 있게 한 것을 특징으로 하는 완충장치를 구비한 스티어링 휠 기어박스.
  2. 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 피스톤로드(22)의 선단부에는 고무재질의 완충재(25)가 부착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 완충장치를 구비한 스티어링 휠 기어박스.
