Abstract

본 발명은 MPEG과 AC-3의 압축알고리즘에 의해 각각 부호화되고 압축된 오디오 비트스트림을 호환있게 복호화할 수 있도록 한 MPEG과 AC-3 겸용 디지탈 오디오신호의 복호화장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 디지탈 오디오신호의 복호화장치는부호화기로부터 부호화된 오디오 비트스트림에 사용한 오디오 압축방식을 나타내는 비트데이타를 부가하여 전송시 이를수신하여 부가된 오디오 압축방식의 비트데이타를 디코딩하는 디코더와, MPEG의 압축알고리즘에 의해 압축부호화된 오디오 비트스트림을 디코딩하여 원래 오디오신호로 복원하는 MPEG 오디오 디코더와,AC-3의 압축알고리즘에 의해 압축부호화된 오디오 비트스트림을 디코딩하여 원래 오디오신호로 복원하는 AC-3오디오디코더, 및 디코딩된 오디오 압축방식의 비트데이타에 따라 MPEG 오디오디코더와 AC-3오디오디코더중 해당하는 하나의 오디오디코더만이 동작가능한 인에이블상태가 되도록 제어하는 제어부로 구성된다.

제3도는 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 따른 MPEG과 AC-3겸용 디지털 오디오신호의 복호화장치를 나타내는 구성도.

Claims (3)

  1. MPEG 내지 AC-3의 압축알고리즘중 하나의 의해 압축 부호화된 오디오 비트스트림과 비디오 비스트스트림을패킷화하고 다중화하여 트랜스포트 스트림(TS)으로 전송되는 비트스트림을 복호화하기 위한 장치에 있어서, 오디오 비트스트림에 사용된 압축방식을 나타내는 비트데이타가 부가되어 전송되는 TS 비트스트림을 수신하며, 수신한 TS 비트스트림을 디코딩하여 비디오와 오디오 비트스트림으로 분리하여 출력하고, 부가된 비트데이타를 제어부로 출력하는 TS 디코더; 상기 TS 디코더에서 출력된 비디오 비트스트림을 디코딩하여 원래 비디오신호로 복원하는 비디오디코더; 상기 TS 디코더에서 출력된 비트데이타에 의해 MPEG 오디오 디코더와 AC-3 오디오디코더중 하나를 동작가능한 인에이블상태로 만드는 제어부; 상기 제어부의 제어에 의해 인에이블상태가 되면 상기 TS 디코더에서 출력된 오디오 비트스트림을 디코딩하여원래 오디오신호로 복원하는 MPEG 오디오디코더; 및 상기 제어부의 제어에 의해 인에이블상태가 되면 상기 TS 디코더에서출력된 오디오 비트스트림을 디코딩하여 원래 오디오신호로 복원하는 AC-3오디오디코더를 포함하는 MPEG과 AC-3겸용 디지탈 오디오신호의 복호화 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제어부는 상기 TS 디코더에서 출력된 비트데이타에 의해 오디오비트스트림에 사용된 압축방식이 MPEG로 인식되면 상기 MPEG 오디오디코더를 인에이블시키고 상기 AC-3 오디오디코더를 디스에이블시키는것을 특징으로 하는 MPEG과 AC-3겸용 디지탈오디오신호의 복호화장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제어부는 상기 TS 디코더에서 출력된 비트데이타에 의해 오디오 비트스트림에 사용된 압축방식이 AC-3으로 인식되면 상기 AC-3 오디오디코더를 인에이블시키고 상기 MPEG 오디오디코더를 디스에이블시키는것을 특징으로 하는 MPEG과 AC-3 겸용 디지탈 오디오신호의 복호화장치.
