Abstract
본 발명은 광역망 서비스가 가능한 광역서비스 기능을 갖는 무선 호출 수신기 및 그 수신방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 무선 호출 수신기는 사용자와의 운용 데이터를 주고받는 인터페이스 수단(5, 6, 7, 8)과, RF 신호를 수신하는 안테나(9)와, 상기한 안테나(9)를 통해 수신된 RF 신호를 증폭한 후 POCSAG 코드 신호 형태의 2진 디지털 신호로 변환시켜주는 RF단(1)과, ID와 운용에 필요한 데이타가 저장되는 메모리(3)와, 상기한 RF단(1)에 연결되어 수신된 POCSAG 코드 신호로부터 동기 신호를 검출하여 동기 검출 신호를 발생하며 수신된 어드레스 코드워드 중 개인 ID가 상기한 메모리(3)에 저장된 개인 ID와 일치할 경우 ID 일치 신호를 발생하는 디코더(2)와, 상기한 동기 검출 신호에 응답하여 RF단(1)으로부터 입력되는 POCSAG 코드 신호로부터 어드레스 코드워드 중 지역 ID가 사용자의 지역 ID와 일치하는지를 판별하여 이를 기억시키고 상기한 ID 일치 신호에 응답하여 부저(5)나 진동장치(6) 중 어느 하나를 구동함과 동시에 상기한 디코더(2)로부터 인가된 수신 메시지 데이터를 LCD(8)를 통해 표시해 주는 제어수단(4)으로 구성된다.The present invention relates to a radio call receiver having a wide area service function capable of wide area network service, and a method of receiving the same.
