Abstract

본 발명은 Ba(Zn1/3Ta2/3)O3계 고주파용 유전체 자기조성물 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 종래에 개발된 유전체 자기로는 유전율은 40 이하이나 낮은 유전손실을 갖는 Ba(M+2 1/3M+5 2/3)O3(M+2=Mg,Zn,M+5=Ta,Nb)계, Ba2Ti9O20계 및 (Zr, Sn)TiO4계와, 유전손실은 비교적 크지만(Qxf0<10000) 유전율이 80 이상인 BaO-Sm2O3-TiO2계, (Ba, Pb)O-Nd2-O3-TiO2계 및 (Pb, Ca)ZrO3계가 있으나, 일반적으로 유전율이 큰 재료는 유전체 내부의 쌍극자와 결함 등으로 인하여 유전손실과 공진주파수의 온도계수가 증가하게 되며, 특히 고주파용 세라믹 유전체는 우선적으로 공진주파수의 온도계수가 0±10ppm/℃ 정도로 안정하여야 응용이 가능하다.
이에 본 발명은 Ba(Zn1/3Ta2/3)O3조성계에 MnO2를 1㏖%, B2O3를 2wt%까지 첨가함으로써 낮은 소결온도에서 소결조제의 휘발이 없이 대량생산이 가능함과 더불어 우수한 유전특성, 품질계수, 공진주파수 온도계수를 갖도록 한 것이다.

Claims (3)

  1. 다음의 조성계 Ba(Zn1/3Ta2/3)O3에 MnO2를 1㏖%, B2O3를 2wt%까지 첨가한 것을 특징으로 하는 고주파용 유전체 자기조성물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 B2O3의 첨가량이 0.25∼0.5wt%인 것을 특징으로 하는 고주파용 유전체 자기조성물.
  3. BaCO3, ZnO, Ta2O5를 기본원료로 하여 Ba(Zn1/3Ta2/3)O3가 되도록 칭량한 후, 알코올과 지르코니아볼로 12시간 동안 습식혼합과 분쇄를 행하고, 건조하는 공정과, 혼합물을 1200℃에서 2시간 동안 하소하여 합성한 후, 각각 MnO2를 1.0㏖%, 그리고 소결조제로 B2O3를 0.25, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2wt% 첨가하여 지르코니아볼을 사용하여 다시 12시간 동안 혼합하여 건조하는 공정과, 이 분말을 1ton/㎠의 압력으로 가압하여 두께가 4∼5㎜인 시편을 성형하는 공정과, 성형된 시편을 전기로를 이용하여 1250∼1500℃ 사이의 온도에서 3∼12시간 동안 소결하는 공정의 순서로 수행함을 특징으로 하는 고주파 유전체 자기조성물의 제조방법.
