Abstract

본 발명은 직경이 작은 기어나 작동축을 갖는 소형기어를 가공하기 위한 기어의 전조가공에 관한 것으로, 소재를 소정의 길이로 절단하는 소재절단공정과, 절단된 소재를 절삭 또는 단조하여 기어형성부를 형성하는 공정과, 상기 기어형성부를 고주파코일내로 통과시켜 국부적으로 가열하는 국부가열공정과, 가열된 기어형성부를 다수의 치부가 돌출형성된 제1 및 제2다이내에서 이송시켜 기어를 가공하는 기어전조공정으로 이루어져 기어를 가공하는 전조가공전의 공정에서 고주파가열에 의해 소재를 가열한후 기어를 전조가공함으로써 기어를 가공하기 위하여 제1 및 제2다이를 슬라이드작동시키기 위한 구동수단등의 부하량을 현저하게 줄일 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 기어전조가공이 매우 신속하고 용이하게 이루어짐으로써 치수정밀도가 안정되고 불량율이 최소화되어 제조코스트를 현저하게 절감할 수 있는 것이다.

제2도는 본 발명에 따른 기어의 가공공정을 순서적으로 나타내는 설명도,
제3도는 본 발명에 따른 가열공정을 개략적으로 도시한 도면,
제4도(가)(나)는 본 발명에 따른 기어의 전조공정을 도시한 도면.

Claims (3)

  1. 소재를 소정의 길이로 절단하는 소재절단공정과, 절단된 소재를 절삭 또는 단조하여 기어형성부를 형성하는 공정과, 상기 기어형성부를 고주파코일내로 통과시켜 국부적으로 가열하는 국부가열공정과, 가열된 기어형성부를 다수의 치부가 돌출형성된 제1 및 제2다이내에서 이송시켜 기어를 가공하는 기어전조공정으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 기어의 전조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 제2다이는 치부의 높이가 경사지게 형성된 경사부를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 기어의 전조방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기어전조공정의 이후의 공정에서는 가열된 소재를 냉각시키는 열처리공정이 실시되는 것을 특징으로 하는 기어의 전조방법.
