Abstract

본 발명은 감소된 힘으로 커넥터 플러그(1)와 커넥터 리셉터클(2)을 결합시킬 수 있게 해주는 캠 기구(3)가 장착된 전기 커넥터에 관한 것이다. 캠 기구(3)는 커넥터 리셉터클의 활주 가능한 덮개(26)의 변위를 커넥터 플러그(1)의 플러그 단자(12)와 커넥터 리셉터클(2)의 리셉터클 단자(22)의 결합으로 변환할 수 있다. 캠 기구(3)는 적어도 하나의 안내 핀(5)과 안내 슬롯(6)으로 구성된다. 안내 핀은 커넥터 플러그 상에 위치되는 반면에 슬롯은 커넥터 리셉터클의 활주 가능한 덮개에 위치된다. 안내 슬롯은 리셉터클 커넥터 상에서의 덮개의 이동에 의해 플로그 및 리셉터클 단자의 완전한 결합이 이루어질 때까지 커넥터 리셉터클의 결합 구역이 커넥터 리셉터클의 결합 공간(13) 내에 연속적으로 삽입될 수 있도록 성형된다.

Claims (3)

  1. 다른 커넥터의 단자들과 결합 가능한 다수의 단자를 장착한 하우징을 각각 구비한 커넥터 플러그와 커넥터 리셉터클과, 커넥터를 결합 및 해제하기 위해 결합 축을 따라 하우징들을 서로를 향해 그리고 서로 멀어지는 쪽으로 이동시키는 캠 기구와, 리셉터클 커넥터 하우징 상에 장착되고 결합 축에 횡방향인 경로를 따라 활주식 이동 가능한 보호 덮개를 포함하고, 보호 덮개는 결합 축에 대해 경사지게 연장된 적어도 하나의 캠 트랙을 구비하고, 리셉터클 커넥터 하우징은 보호 덮개의 활주 운동에 응답해서 하우징들을 결합시키기 위해 캠 트랙내로 돌출하는 적어도 하나의 캠 종동부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 캠 트랙은 상기 커넥터 플러그의 수형 단자들과 상기 커넥터 리셉터클의 암형 단자들을 결합시키는데 필요한 힘이 결합 과정 중에 변화하더라도, 상기 보호 덮개에 인가되는 작동력을 변화시키지 않고 상기 커넥터 플러그와 커넥터 리셉터클을 결합시킬 수 있게 캠 비가 변화될 수 있도록 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 커넥터 플러그 하우징은 상기 커넥터 리셉터클을 수납하기 위한 개구를 구비하고, 상기 캠 종동부는 상기 수납 개구 내로 연장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
