Abstract

The video signal input/output switching circuitry of TVCR comprises: a first output mode selection unit(9-1) for supplying either a contrast signal from first Y/C separation unit of a VCR recording system or a contrast signal output from second Y signal process unit(14) of VCR play back system to a display unit(8a) of TV(8); and a second output mode selection unit(9-2) for supplying either a color signal output from first separation unit(4) of VCR recording system or a color signal output from second signal process unit(16) of VCR play back system to a display unit of TV, thereby reducing the circuit size.
