Abstract
기존의 액정패널장치 구동회로를 그대로 채용하면서 원하는 화면 모드를 액정패널장치에 디스플레이시키는 와이드 TV 수상기용 액정패널장치 구동방법이 개시되는 바, 이는 기존의 액정패널 구동회로는 그대로 채용하면서, 그것을 구동하기 위한 제어부의 제어신호만을 변경하여 화면비 변환기능을 수행함으로써, 영상신호의 노이즈에 의해 발생되는 해상도 저하를 방지하고, 또한 별도의 화면비 변환회로를 사용하지 않음으로 인해 코스트를 다운시킨다.Disclosed is a method of driving a liquid crystal panel device for a wide TV receiver which displays a desired screen mode on the liquid crystal panel device while adopting a conventional liquid crystal panel device driving circuit. By changing only the control signal of the control unit for performing the aspect ratio conversion function, it is possible to prevent the resolution degradation caused by the noise of the video signal and to reduce the cost by not using a separate aspect ratio conversion circuit.
