Abstract

본 발명은 CATV에 있어서 즉시 신청 가능 유료 프로그램 수신방법에 관한 것으로서, 현재 방영되고 있는 스크램블된 화면을 정상화면으로 전환하기 위한 제1키 데이타를 전송하는 제1과정, 가입자의 상기 프로그램 신청여부를 확인하고, 이때 각 가입자에 대하여 기설정된 시정 신청시간내에 상기 프로그램 신청 혹은 취소의 최종 여부를 판단하는 제2과정 상기 기설정된 시청 신청시간 종료 후 신청신호(P)가 없는 경우 상기 제1키 데이타를 삭제하고, 신청신호(P) 있는 경우 상기 제1키 데이타를 그대로 유지하여 정상화면이 전송되도록 하는 제3과정, 방송국에서의 상기 프로그램에 대한 폴링이 개시된 경우 가입자에 의한 상기 프로그램 신청 여부를 전송하는 제4과정, 가입자가 상기 프로그램을 신청한 경우 방송국으로부터 제2키 데이타를 전송받고, 상기 제2키 데이타를 메모리에 저장하는 제5과정, 및 키 데이타 전환신호가 인가된 경우 키 데이타를 변경하여 상기 제2키 데이타에 의해 디스크램블링을 수행하여 정상화면을 시청하는 제6과정을 포함한다.

제2도는 케이블 텔레비젼 방송에 있어서 본 발명에 따른 즉시 신청 가능 유료 프로그램 수신방법을 설명하기 위한 흐름도.

Claims (1)

  1. 케이블 텔레비젼에 있어서, 현재 방영되고 있는 스크램블된 화면을 정상화면으로 전환하기 위한 제1키 데이터를 전송하는 제1과정; 가입자에 의한 즉시 신청 가능 유료(Impulse Pay Per View :IPPV) 프로그램시청 신청여부를 확인하고, 이때 각 가입자에 대하여 기설정된 시청 신청시간내에 상기 프로그램 신청 혹은 취소의 최종 여부를 판단하는 제2과정; 상기 기설정된 시청 신청시간 종료 후 신청신호(P)가 없는 경우 상기 제1키 데이터를 삭제하고, 신청신호(P)있는 경우 상기 제1키 데이터를 그대로 유지하여 정상화면이 전송되도록 하는 제3과정; 방송국에서는 프로그램에 대한 폴링이 개시된 경우 가입자에 의한 상기 프로그램 신청 여부를 전송하는 제4과정; 가입자가 상기 프로그램을 신청한 경우 방송국으로부터 제2키 데이터를 전송받고, 상기 제2키 데이터를 메모리에 저장하는 제5과정; 및 키 데이터 전환신호가 인가된 경우 키 데이터를 변경하여 상기 제2키 데이터에 의해 디스크램블링을 수행하여 정상화면을 시청하는 제6과정을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 즉시 신청 가능 유료 프로그램 수신방법.
