Abstract
본 발명은 트랙밀도를 증가시킨 자기저항헤드에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 컴퓨터용 보조기억장치인 HDD의 기록장치에 사용되는 자기유도 자기저항 복합 박막헤드를 구성하는 기록갭과 재생갭사이의 간격을 최소화시키므로써 인접트랙에서의 상호 간섭을 방지하여 정보의 기록시 고밀도 기록이 가능하고 기록된 정보의 정확한 재생이 가능하도록 된 것에 관한 것으로, 자기유도/자기저항 복합박막헤드를 구성하는 기록용 자성층의 한층이 재생용 차폐층의 한층과 공유된 공유층을 갖는 자기저항헤드에 있어서, 상기 공유층(9′)의 갭부위에 인접트랙에서의 신호간섭을 방지하는 단차부(10)가 형성된 것이다.The present invention relates to a magnetoresistive head having increased track density, and more particularly, a gap between a recording gap and a reproducing gap constituting a magneto-induced magnetoresistive composite thin film head used in a recording device of an HDD, which is an auxiliary storage device for computers.
