Claims (7)
- 증기 상내의 사염화 티타늄의 산화 반응에 의해 생성된 색소 함유 이산화 티타늄 입자의 응집된 슬러리를 탈수시킴으로써 자유수와 응집된 색소 함유 이산화 티타늄 입자를 포함하는 필터 케이크를 형성시키는 단계; 상기 필터 케이트를 분쇄 또는 압출시킴으로써 상기 필터 케이크로부터의 상기 자유수 및 응집된 색소 함유 이산화 티타늄 입자를 포함하는 고형 예비성형물을 형성시키는 단계; 상기 고형 예비성형물을 건조시켜 자유수 함량을 감소시키는 단계; 및 건조된 고형 예비성형물을 분쇄시켜 상기 고형 예비성형물의 크기를 감소시킴으로써 부피 밀도가 0.5g/cc 내지 3.5g/cc이고, 무색소 이산화 티타늄 입자 집합체중 75중량% 이상이 최소 한도 입자 크기가 150μ이며, 최대 한도 입자 크기가 1700μ인 무색소 이산화 티타늄 입자 집합체의 자유 유동 분말을 제공하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유리 및 세라믹 제품의 제조에 유용한 무색소 이산화 티타늄 입자 집합체의 자유 유동 분말을 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 고형 예비성형물은 25 내지 50중량%의 자유수와 50 내지 75중량%의 응집된 색소 함유 이산화 티타늄 입자를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 고형 예비성형물을 고온에서 건조시켜 예비성형물의 중량을 기준으로 하여 5.0중량% 이하로 자유수 함량을 감소시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 고형 예비성형물을 125℃ 내지 700℃의 온도 범위내의 고온에서 건조시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 자유 유동 분말의 부피 밀도가 0.8g/cc 내지 1.2g/cc인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 무색소 이산화 티타늄 입자 집합체중 85중량% 이상이 그 입자 크기가 150μ 내지 1700μ인 상기 자유 유동 분말을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 무색소 이산화 티타늄 입자 집합체의 자유 유동 분말을 습윤시키는 단계; 및 상기 습윤시킨 자유 유동 분말을 응집시키는 단계를 부가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
