Description
Claims (8)
- (a) 모재 금속을 증기상 산화제의 존재하에서 가열하여 용융된 모재 금속체를 형성시키고, 상기 용융된 모재 금속과 상기 산화제를 산화반응 생성물을 형성시키기에 적당한 온도에서 반응시켜 상기 산화반응 생성물을 용융된 모재 금속체와 상기 산화제 사이에 접촉된 상태로 연장시키는 단계, (b) 상기 온도에서 상기 용융된 모재 금속을 포함하는 용융된 흐름을 상기 산화반응 생성물을 통해 상기 산화제쪽으로 이동시킴으로써 상기 산화제와 이전에 형성된 산화반응 생성물 사이의 계면에서 산화반응 생성물을 계속 형성시키는 단계, 및 (c) 상기 산화반응 생성물과 금속 성분을 포함하는 상기 세라믹체를 제조하기에 충분한 시간동안 상기 반응을 계속하는 단계를 포함하여 모재 금속의 산화반응에 의해 자립성 세라믹체를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, A) 상기 용융된 흐름내로 제2금속을 혼입시키고 상기 단계 (c)에서와 같이 상기 산화반응을 계속하는 단계; 및 B) 상기 제2금속의 존재 및 성질에 의해 상기 세라믹체의 하나 이상의 성질에 적어도 부분적으로 영향을 미치기에 충분한 양의 상기 제2금속을 포함하는 상기 금속 성분을 가지며, 스피넬을 갖지 않거나 또는 스피넬을 거의 건부 상기 산화반응 생성물의 초기 표면내에 가지는 상기 세라믹체를 회수하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 모재 금속의 산화반응은 상기 제2금속과 상기 모재 금속을 포함하는 하나 이상의 금속상을 형성시키거나 농후하게 하기 위해 상기 제2금속에 비례하여 상기 흐름내의 상기 모재 금속을 감소시키기에 충분한 시간동안 계속하며, 상기 금속상을 포함하는 금속 성분을 가진 상기 세라믹체를 회수하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 가열 단계에 앞서 상기 모재 금속과 상기 제2금속을 합금시켜 상기 제2금속을 상기 용융된 흐름내로 혼입시키는 방법, 상기 가열 단계에 앞서 상기 모재 금속의 하나 이상의 표면에 상기 제2금속의 층을 부착시킴으로써 상기 제2금속을 상기 모재 금속에 첨가하여 상기 제2금속을 상기 용융된 흐름내로 혼입시키는 방법, 및 처리 조건하에서 해리되어 상기 제2금속을 유리시키는 금속-함유 성분으로서 상기 제2금속을 제공하는 방법으로 이루어진 군중에서 선택된 방법에 의해 상기 용융된 흐름내로 상기 제2금속을 혼입시키는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 세라믹체는 복합 세라믹체를 구성하며, 상기 모재 금속에 인접하여 충전재 또는 투과성 예비성형체 소재를 배치하는 단계, 상기 제2금속을 상기 복합체의 충전재 또는 예비성형체와 혼합시키는 단계, 및 상기 산화반응 생성물을 상기 충전재 또는 투과성 예비성형체로 소재내로 성장시킴으로써 상기 제2금속을 상기 용융된 흐름내로 혼입시키는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 충전재 또는 상기 투과성 예비성형체 소재의 하나 이상의 표면에 상기 제2금속을 부착시킴으로써, 상기 제2금속을 상기 용융된 흐름내로 혼입시키는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- (a) 모재 금속과 증기산 산화제를 포함하는 장치내에서 용융된 모재 금속의 산화반응에 의해 형성되는 다결정질 산화반응 생성물, (b) 상기 모재 금속의 비산화된 성분과 상기 장치내부에 존재하는 원료로부터 유래하는 제2금속을 포함하고 상기 다결정질 산화반응 생성물이 형성되는 동안 동일계상에서 형성되는 금속성분을 포함하므로써 상기 제2금속의 존재에 의해 개질된 하나 이상의 성질을 가지는 자립성 세라믹체.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 제2금속의 주요 성분이 알루미늄, 티타늄, 철, 니켈, 구리, 지르코늄, 하프늄, 코발트, 망간, 실리콘, 게르마늄, 주석, 은, 금 및 백금으로 이루어진 군중에서 선택되는 자립성 세라믹체.
- 제6항에 있어서, 충전재를 추가로 포함하는 자립성 세라믹체.
