Claims (16)
- 니켈양극전극, 전기 전도성 기판 및 상기 기판의 적어도 일표면에 접착에 의해 고착된 전기 화학적 활성재로 이루어진 페이스트 음극카운터전극, 양극전극과 음극전극사이에 개재된 분리기, 및 전해질을 구비한 밀봉된 재충전 가능한 전기 화학셀에 있어서, 니켈양극전극은 전해질을 전달하도록 양극전극을 측면으로 관통한 통로를 형성하는 다공성 전도기판, 및 기판에 접착되고 상기 통로를 통하여 상기 양극전극의 반대측에 접속되는 전기 화학적 활성니켈물질로 형성되고, 페이스트 음극전극의 전기 전도성 기판은 거의 구멍이 없는 것으로 하여 셀의 충전시에 니켈전극의 정상적인 팽창성향을 억제하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 화학셀.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기판은 무공성 시트인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 화학셀.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 시트는 전기 화학적 활성재와 음극전극의 기판사이의 접착을 강화시키는 수단을 그 표면상에 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 화학셀.
- 제1항에 있어서, 양극전극의 기판은 상기 기판의 각 표면상에서 소결된 저밀도 금속분말을 지탱하고 상기 구멍들을 통하여 기계적으로 상호 접속된 다공성 시트로 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 화학셀.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 양극전극의 기판은 85∼95%의 다공성 금속거품이 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 화학셀.
- 제1항에 있어서, 셀요소들을 장착하기 위한 다부품 용기를 아울러 구비하는데, 상기 용기의 한 부품은 셀의 음극단자로서 작용하고, 상기 음극전극의 무공성 기판의 단부는 그 표면상에 상기 전기 화학적 활성재가 거의 없으며 상기 음극셀단자로서 작용하는 상기 용기의 부품과 전기접촉되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 화학셀.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 용기는 원통상이고 전극 및 분리기는 나선형으로 권취되며 외측 음극전극의 무공성 기판은 용기와 접촉되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 화학셀.
- 제1항에 있어서, 페이스트 음극전극의 전기 전도성 기판은 가로치수가 그 기판표면으로부터 니켈양극전극의 인접 표면까지의 거리의 약 200% 이하인 미세공들을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 화학셀.
- 제1항에 있어서, 페이스트 음극전극의 전기 전도성 기판은 가로치수가 그 기판의 표면으로부터 니켈양극전극의 인접 표면까지의 거리의 약 100% 이하인 미세공들을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 화학셀.
- 제1항에 있어서, 음극카운터전극은 카드뮴인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 화학셀.
- 제1항에 있어서, 음극카운터전극은 아연인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 화학셀.
- 제1항에 있어서, 음극카운터전극은 수소인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 화학셀.
- 제1항에 있어서, 음극카운터전극은 금속수소화물인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 화학셀.
- 재충전 가능한 니켈전극을 포함한 전기 화학셀에서 사용되는 음극전극페이스트 제조방법에 있어서, 적어도 그 일부분이 무공성인 전기 전도성 스트립 기판을 코팅수단을 통하여 전진시키는 단계와 ; 스트립의 2개의 대향되는 주표면이 그 스트립의 제1가로부를 따라 페이스트를 지탱하고 상기 주표면의 오직 하나만이 상기 스트립의 제2가로부를 따라 페이스트를 지탱하여 베이스기판부를 형성하도록, 상기 전진하는 스트립상에 전기 화학적 활성재와 첨가물의 페이스트 혼합물을 선택적으로 도포하는 단계와 ; 각각의 성분 스트립의 베이스 기판부가 전기 화학셀의 단자에 전기접촉되도록 형성되는, 전극으로써 적합한 복수의 성분 스트립으로 상기 페이스트 스트립을 교차 절단하는 단계와 ; 상기 성분 스트립으로부터 첨가물을 제거하는 단계를 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 음극전극플레이트 제조방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 벗겨진 기판부는 무공성은 것을 특징으로 하는 음극전극플레이트 제조방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 스트립기판은 무공성의 금속제 시트인 것을 특징으로 하는 음극전극플레이트 제조방법.
