Claims (10)
- 냉각제를 기화기로 통과시켜 상기 기화기내의 열 교환 코일을 통해 순환하는 액체들 냉각시키는 액체냉각기와, 온도 감지기가 상기 기화기에서 유출되는 상기 냉각된 액체의 온도를 감지하는 동안 상기 기화기내의 냉각제의 압력을 감지하는 압력 감지기를 구비하는 공기조절 시스템에서, 상기 감지기들중 어느 하나의 감지기가 결함이 있는지를 검출하는 진단 시스템에 있어서, 상기 압력 감지기의 출력으로부터 상기 기화기 냉각제 압력을 나타내는 냉각제 압력 신호를 발생시키는 수단과, 상기 온도 감지기의 출력으로부터 상기 유출되는 냉각된 액체 온도를 나타내는 액체 온도 신호를 발생시키는 수단과, 상기 냉각제 압력 신호로 표시되는 상기 기화기 냉각제 온도 및 상기 액체 온도 신호로 표시되는 상기 유출되는 냉각된 액체 온도간의 차로부터 상기 감지기들중 하나의 감지기 출력이 에러 상태에 있는지 여부를 판단하여 결함이 있는 감지기를 표시하는 컴퓨팅 수단과, 상기 컴퓨팅 수단에 의해 제어되어 결함이 있는 감지기가 검출될때 경보 메시지를 조작자에게 제공하는 경보 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공기조절 시스템에서 결함있는 감지기를 검출하는 진단 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 컴퓨팅 수단은 소정의 공지된 관계성이 상기 감지기 출력 사이에 존재하는지를 판단하여, 상기 공지된 관계성이 발견되지 않을때 결함있는 감지기를 표시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공기조절 시스템에서 결함있는 감지기를 검출하는 진단 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 경보 수단은 결함있는 감지기가 발견될 때 가시적인 디스플레이를 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공기조절 시스템에서 결함있는 감지기를 검출하는 진단 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 컴퓨팅 수단에 의해 제어되어, 결함있는 감지기가 발견될때마다 안전 조치로서 공기조절 시스템의 압축기를 폐쇄하는 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공기조절 시스템에서 결함있는 감지기를 검출하는 진단 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 컴퓨팅 수단은 마이크로컴퓨터를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공기조절 시스템에서 결함있는 감지기를 검출하는 진단 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 컴퓨팅 수단의 동작은 상기 공기조절 시스템이 파워업된 후 프리세트시간 주기동안 지연되어 상기 기화기 냉각제 압력 및 상기 유출되는 냉각된 액체 온도를 안정화 시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 공기조절 시스템에서 결함있는 감지기를 검출하는 진단 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 컴퓨팅 수단은 상기 냉각제 압력 신호로부터 상기 냉각제의 압력-온도 관계를 토대로 등가의 기화기 냉각제 온도를 계산하여, 상기 등가의 기화기 냉각제 온도 및 상기 유출되는 냉각된 액체 온도는 감지기중 어느 하나의 감지기가 결함이 있는지를 판단시에 효과적으로 비교되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공기조절 시스템에서 결함있는 감지기를 검출하는 진단 시스템.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 등가의 기화기 냉각제 온도는 상기 유출되는 냉각된 액체 온도로부터 감산되어 온도차를 구하는데, 이 온도차는 감지기의 정상 기능을 나타내는 소정의 공지된 온도 범위와 비교되어, 상기 온도차가 감지기중 하나의 감지기가 결함이 있을때 상기 소정의 공지된 온도 범위를 벗어나 있다는 것을 판정한 경우 상기 경보 수단이 동작되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공기조절 시스템에서 결함있는 감지기를 검출하는 진단 시스템.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 등가의 기화기 냉각제 온도 및 상기 유출되는 냉각된 액체 온도가 2진수로 표시되며, 이들 수의 2진 감산은 온도차를 나타내는 최종적인 2진수를 발생시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 공기조절 시스템에서 결함있는 감지기를 검출하는 진단 시스템.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 소정의 공지된 온도 범위는 약 -2.5℉에서 약 25℉이며, 상기 온도차는 감지기가 적절히 기능하는 한 상기 공기조절 시스템의 임의 동작 조건하에서 상기 범위를 벗어나지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 공기조절 시스템에서 결함있는 감지기를 검출하는 진단 시스템.
