Abstract
본 발명은 산성비의 주요인으로 알려져 있는 이산화황(SO2) 함유 가스로부터 원호 황(S)을 회수하는 방법. 더 자세히 언급하면, 환원제로서 수소함유가스를 이용하는 촉매 환원 공정을 통하여 배기가스 중에 함유되어 있는 SO2가스 또는 고농축 SO2가스로부터 원소 황을 회수하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 통하여 배기가스 중에 함유되어 있는 SO2를 직접 처리하거나 배연탈황공정에서 고농축된 SO2로부터 원소황을 회수할 수 있다. 특히, 본 발명은 황화수소(H2S)를 처리하는 상용적인 클라우스(Claus) 공정의 후처리 공정 부분에 새로운 기술로서 적용할 수 있다.The present invention is a method for recovering the arc of sulfur (S) from a sulfur dioxide (SO 2 ) containing gas known to be the main cause of acid rain. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for recovering elemental sulfur from SO 2 gas or highly concentrated SO 2 gas contained in exhaust gas through a catalytic reduction process using hydrogen-containing gas as a reducing agent. The present invention can directly process SO 2 contained in the exhaust gas or recover elemental sulfur from highly concentrated SO 2 in a flue gas desulfurization process. In particular, the present invention is applicable as a novel technique to the post-treatment process portion of a commercially available Claus process that treats hydrogen sulfide (H 2 S).
