Description
Claims (20)
- 어드레스지정주기를 정의하는 행어드레스지정기간중에 어레이내의 어드레스위치에 배열되고, 전압치를 갖는 우발적인 데이터성분을 전송하는 우발적인 전기적 결합을 갖는 다수의 화소의 각각에 대해 데이터 구동신호를 어드레스지정하여 전송하기 위한 어드레스지정구조를 갖는 전기광학디스플레이의 동작전압조건을 저감시키고, 혼신과 직류전압에 대한 감도를 저감시키는 방법에 있어서, 액정물질을 포함하고, 높은 임계전압과 낮은 포화전압을 갖는 화소에 데이터구동신호를 전송함으로써 상기 디스플레이상에 표시된 화상이 우발적인 데이터성분에 의해 상대적으로 영향을 받지 않도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학디스플레이의 혼신감도의 저감방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 액정물질은 네마틱형인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학디스플레이의 혼신감도의 저감방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 액저울질은 긴 분자축을 가지고, 그 긴 분자축과 직각인 낮은 광학 및 유전이방성과 낮은 유번상수를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학디스플레이의 혼신감도의 저감방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 화소는 3V이상의 임계전압을 갖는 액정물질로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학디스플레이의 혼신감도의 저감방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 화소는 4.5 이상의 임계전압을 갖는 액정물질로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학디스플레이의 혼신감도의 저감방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 화소는 5.0 이하의 정(正)의 유전이방성을 갖는 액정물질로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학디스플레이의 혼신감도의 저감방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서, 상기 화소는 1.0 이하의 정의 유전이방성을 갖는 액정물질로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학디스플레이의 혼신감도의 저감방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 화소는 3.0 이하의 디렉터와 직각인 유전상수를 갖는 액정물질로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학디스플레이의 혼신감도의 저감방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 광학이방성은 0.08이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학디스플레이의 혼신감도의 저감방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 또한 혼신을 오프셋시키고, 프레임어드레스지정기간중에 화소의 부분을 통해 흐르는 평방근 전압치를 정확하게 유지하도록 화소에 보상신호를 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학디스플레이의 혼신감도의 저감방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 데이터구동신호는 각 화소에 대한 데이터 구동전극상에 전송하고, 상기 보상신호의 전송단계는, 행어드레스기간중에 다수의 데이터구동전극에 인가되는 데이터구동신호에 대응하는 보상신호전압치를 결정하고, 행어드레스기간중에 데이터 구동전극에 보상신호를 인가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학디스플레이의 혼심감도의 저감방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 행어드레스기간은 제 1 및 제 2 위상으로 분할되고, 정보는 제 1 위상중에 데이터구동전극에 인가되고, 보상신호는 제 2 위상중에 인가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학디스플레이의 혼신감도의 저감방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 보상신호의 결정단계는 데이터구동전극에 대한 행어드레스기간중에 데이터구동전극에 인가되는 모든 정보의 역가중평균치를 결정하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학디스플레이의 혼신감도의 저감방법.
- 어레이내의 어드레스위치에 배열된 다수의 화소의 각각에 데이터구동전극상의 데이터구동신호를 어드레스지정 및 전송하기 위한 어드레스지정구조와 어드레스지정기간중에 상기 어레이내의 다수의 어드레스위치에 상기 데이터구동신호를 전송하기 위한 데이터드라이버를 가지고, 상기 화소들은 그 화소들간의 우발적인 데이터성분을 전달하는 우발적인 전기적 결합을 갖는 전기광학디스플레이에 있어서, 상기 우발적인 데이터성분의 전압이상의 임계전압을 갖는 액정물질로 이루어지고, 상기 디스플레이상에 표시될 화상이 그 우발적인 데이터성분에 의해 비교적 영향을 받지 않도록 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학디스플레이.
- 제 14항에 있어서, 상기 액정물질은 3.0V 이상의 임계전압을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학디스플레이.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 상기 액정물질은 5.0 이하의 정의 유전이방성을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학 디스플레이.
- 제 16 항에 있어서, 상기 액정물질은 1.0 이하의 정의 유전이방성을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학 디스플레이.
- 제 17 항에 있어서, 상기 액정물질은 3.0 이하의 디렉터와 직각인 유전상수를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학 디스플레이.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 상기 디스플레이는 액티브매트릭스액정형으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학디스플레이.
- 제 19 항에 있어서, 상기 디스플레이는 플라즈마어드레스형으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학디스플레이.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
