Abstract

본원 데이타 입력 장치는 다수의 광선 트랜스미터들과 다수의 광선 리시버들 사이의 광선을 차단하는 물체의 검출을 통해 터치 태블릿에 대한 물체의 위치를 결정하는 수단이 제공된 터치 태블릿을 포함하고 있다. 각 트랜스미터는 다수의 연속된 리시버들에 광선을 동시에 방사할 수 있다. 이 위치 결정 수단은 물체가 제1 및 제2의 트랜스미터 각각의 광선을 차단함으로써 제1 및 제2의 연속된 다수의 리시버들에 투영된 적어도 제1 및 제2의 비중첩 그림자 지역들의 위치들에 기초하여 상기 위치를 결정한다.

Claims (5)

  1. 다수의 광선 트랜스미터들과 다수의 광선 리시버들 사이의 광선을 차단하는 물체의 감지를 통해 터치 태블릿에 대한 물체 위치를 결정하는 위치 결정 수단이 설치된 터치 태블릿을 가진 데이타 입력 장치에 있어서, 각트랜스미터가 다수의 연속된 리시버들에 광선을 동시에 방사할 수 있고, 상기 위치 결정 수단은 물체가 제1 및 제2트랜스미터 각각의 광선을 차단한 결과 제1 및 제2의 연속된 리시버들에 투영된 적어도 제1 및 제2의 비중첩 그림자 지역들의 위치에 의거하여 물체의 위치를 결정하도록 작동하는 것을 특징으로 하는 터치 태블릿이 달린 데이타 입력 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 위치 결정 수단은 순차적으로 트랜스미터들을 작동시키는 데이타 입력 장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 다수의 트랜스미터들이 상기 리시버들을 향해 오목 커브 형태로 배열되어 있는 데이타 입력 장치.
  4. 제1항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 상기 리시버들이 상기 트랜스미터들을 향해 오목 커브 형태로 배열된 데이타 입력 장치.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 데이타 입력 장치에 포함된 LCD를 기능적으로 조명하기 위한 광원이 상기 트랜스미터들의 광원과 물리적으로 통합되어 있는 데이타 입력 장치.
