Abstract
Description
Claims (14)
- 수성 코팅의 개방 시간을 연장하는 방법에 있어서, (a) 제1반응성 기를 갖는 라텍스 중합체를 선택하는 단계; (b) 라텍스 중합체 내의 제1반응성 기에 대해 상보적인 제2반응성 기를 갖는 변형 화합물을 선택하는 단계; (c) 라텍스 중합체와 변형 화합물을 결합시킴으로써 수성 코팅을 형성하는 단계; (d) 상기 수성 코팅 조성물을 기질에 도포시키는 단계로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 수성 코팅의 개방 시간을 연장하는 방법.
- 라텍스 중합체 및 변형 화합물로 구성되는 연장된 개방 시간을 갖는 수성 코팅 조성물에 있어서, 상기 라텍스 중합체는 상기 변형 화합물내의 제2반응성 기에 대해 상보적이며, 제2반응성기와 결합되는 제1반응성 기로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 연장된 개방 시간을 갖는 수성 코팅 조성물.
- 변형 화합물 내의 반응성 기에 대해 상보적인 반응성 기를 갖는 라텍스 중합체를 함유한 수성 코팅 조성물의 개방 시간을 연장하기 위해 반응성 기를 함유한 변형 화합물을 사용하는 방법.
- 제1항 및 제3항의 방법 및 제2항의 조성물에 있어서, 변형 화합물의 농도가 수성 코팅 조성물 내의 라텍스 중합체의 전체 고체 중량에 기초하여 0.1 내지 약 10고체 중량%인 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
- 제2항에 있어서, 변형 화합물이 추가로 적어도 4개의 탄소 원자를 갖는 소수성 부분으로 구성된 양친매성 화합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
- 제5항에 있어서, 양친매성 화합물이 약 10,000미만의 중량 평균 분자량을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
- 제5항에 있어서, 라텍스 중합체와 양친매성 화합물내의 상보적인 반응성 기들이 양으로 및 음으로 하전된 원자들, 및 산들 및 염기들로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 이온화 쌍인 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
- 제1항 및 제2항에 있어서, 라텍스 중합체 및 변형 화합물내의 상보적인 반응성 기들이 (a) 아세토 아세테이트-알데히드; (b) 아세토아세테이트-아민; (c) 아민-알데히드; (d) 아민-무수물; (e) 아민-이소시아네이트; (f) 아민-에폭시; (g) 알데히드-히드라지드; (h) 산-에폭시; (i) 산-카르보디이미드; (j) 산-클로로 메틸 에스테르; (k) 산-클로로 메틸 아미드; (l) 산-무수물; (m) 산-아지리딘; 및 (n) 에폭시-메르캅탄; 및 (o) 이소시아네이트-알코올로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 공유 결합 쌍인 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
- 제5항에 있어서, 라텍스 중합체가 이온화 산 기의 전체 조성물중의 0.5 내지 약 10중량%를 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
- 제5항에 있어서, 라텍스 중합체가 이온화 산 기의 전체 조성물의 0.5 내지 약 5중량%를 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
- 제1항 및 제2항의 라텍스 중합체가 아크릴, 스티렌 아크릴, 스티렌 부타디엔 및 비닐 아세테이트 중합체 라텍스들로 구성되는 군으로부터 선택된 중합체인 것을 특징으로 하는 중합체.
- 제10항에 있어서, 라텍스 중합체가 약 30 내지 약 800나노미터의 평균 입도를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 중합체.
- 제11항에 있어서, 라텍스 중합체가 약 90 내지 500나노미터의 평균 입도를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 변형 화합물 내의 제2반응성 기가 라텍스 중합체 내의 상보적인 제1반응성이 큰 공유 결합된 기에 공유 결합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
