Claims (15)
- 입력애널로그화상신호를 제1샘플링클록마다 샘플링해서 제1디지틀계조데이터로 변환하는 제1A/D변환수단과, 상기 입력애널로그화상신호를 상기 제1샘플링클록과 동일주기의 제2샘플링클록마다 샘플링해서 제2디지틀계조데이터로 변환하는 제2A/D변환수단과, 상기 제1A/D변환수단의 출력에 접속되고, 상기 제1디지틀계조데이터를 상기 제1샘플링클록의 대략 절반주기만큼 지연시키는 지연수단과, 상기 제1A/D변환수단의 출력과 상기 지연수단의 출력이 부여되고, 선택제어신호에 따라서 어느 한쪽을 선택해서 출력하는 선택스위치수단과, 상기 선택스위치수단의 출력과 상기 제2A/D변환수단의 출력이 쌍의 디지틀계조데이터로서 부여되고, 각각을 애널로그치로 변환해서 쌍의 애널로그계조데이터를 출력하는 신호처리수단과, 복수의 열선과 복수의 행선과, 그들에 대응해서 배열된 화소를 가지고, 상기 열선과 행선에 의해 선택된 화소에 각각 애널로그계조데이터가 부여되므로써 계조표시를 행하는 디스플레이패널과, 상기 쌍의 애널로그계조데이터가 순차 부여되고, 소정의 수의 쌍마다 병렬의 쌍의 애널로그계조데이터로 변환하고, 상기 디스플레이패널의 각각 대응하는 상기 열선에 공급하는 소오스구동수단과, 상기 디스플레이패널의 상기 행선을 선택구동하는 게이트구동수단과, 배정세도표시모우드에 있어서는 상기 제1 및 제2샘플링클록의 위상을 서로 180°어긋나게 해서 발생시키는 동시에 상기 선택스위치수단이 상기 지연수단의 출력을 선택하도록 제어하는 상기 선택제어신호를 발생하고, 표준정세도표시모우드에 있어서는 상기 제1 및 제2샘플링클록을 동상으로 발생시키는 동시에 상기 선택스위치수단이 상기 제1A/D변환수단의 출력을 선택하도록 제어하는 상기 선택제어신호를 발생하는 제어수단을 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제어수단에 제어되어, 상기 배정세도표시모우드에 있어서는 각 홀수번필드에서 홀수번의 상기 행선을 순차 선택구동하고, 각 짝수번필드에서 짝수번의 상기 행선을 순차 선택구동하는 수단을 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 게이트구동수단은 상기 제어수단에 제어되어, 상기 표준정세도표시모우드에 있어서는 각 프레임에서 상기 행선을 동시에 2개씩 순차 선택구동하는 수단을 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 신호처리수단은 상기 쌍의 디지틀계조데이터가 각각 공급되는 S개, S는 2이상의 정수의 메모리를 가지고, 상기 S개의 메모리는 상기 제어부로부터 순차 라이트인 에이블신호를 부여받아서, 각 상기 메모리는 상기 라이트인에이블신호가 부여되고 있는 기간에 있어서 상기 쌍의 디지틀계조데이터를 순차 기록하도록 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 S개의 메모리는 공통으로 리이드인에이블신호가 상기 제어부로부터 부여되고 있는 기간, 각각 상기 쌍의 디지틀계조데이터를 판독하고, 상기 신호처리수단은 상기 S개의 메모리로부터 판독된 상기 쌍의 디지틀계조데이터가 각각 부여되고, 각각 쌍의 애널로그계조데이터로 변환해서 출력하는 S개의 D/A변환수단을 가진 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제5항에 있어서, 사기 소오스구동수단은 상기 S개의 D/A변환수단으로부터 각각 상기 쌍의 애널로그계조데이터가 부여되고, S개의 소오스구동회로를 가지고, 각 상기 소오스구동회로는 순차 부여되는 상기 쌍의 애널로그계조데이터를 소정수 취득해서 병렬로 출력하는 직병렬변환메모리수단을 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 신호처리수단은 프레임마다 극성이 반전하고, 또한 서로 역극성의 제1조의 다치전압과 제2조의 다치전압을 출력하는 다치전압발생수단과, 상기 쌍의 디지틀계조데이터의 한쪽과 상기 제1조의 다치전압이 공급되고 상기 한쪽의 디지틀계조데이터에 따라서 1개의 전압을 선택해서 상기 쌍의 에널로그계조데이터의 한쪽을 출력하는 제1디지틀·애널로그변환수단과, 상기 쌍의 디지틀계조데이터의 다른쪽과 상기 제2조의 다치전압이 공급되고, 상기 다른쪽의 디지틀계조데이터에 따라서 1개의 전압을 선택해서 상기 쌍의 애널로그계조데이터의 다른쪽으로서 출력하는 제2디지틀·애널로그변환수단을 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 다치전압발생수단은 정의 정전과 부의 정전압이 입력되고 프레임마다 H레벨과 L레벨이 교대하는 프레임절환신호가 한쪽의 레벨일 때 상기 정의 정전을 선택출력하고, 다른쪽의 레벨일 때 상기 부의 정전압을 선택해서 출력하는 제1셀렉터수단과, 상기 정의 정전압과 부의 정전압이 입력되고, 상기 프레임절환신호가 상기 한쪽의 레벨일 때 상기 부의 정전압을 선택출력하고, 상기 다른쪽의 레벨일 때 상기 정의 정전압을 선택구동하는 제2셀렉터수단과, 상기 제1셀렉터수단의 출력전압과 기준전 부여되고, 그들간의 복수의 다른 전압레벨을 상기 제1조의 다치전압으로서 출력하는 제1다치전압발생기와, 상기 제2셀렉터수단의 출력과 상기 기준전압이 부여되고, 그들간의 복수의 다른 전압레벨을 상기 제2조의 다치전압으로서 출력하는 제2다치전압발생기를 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제7항 또는 제8항에 있어서,상기 소오스구동수단은 상기 쌍의 애널로그계조데이터의 한쪽이 부여되고, 상기 디스플레이패널의 홀수번의 열선을 구동하는 제1소오스구동회로와, 상기 쌍의 애널로그계조데이터의 다른쪽의 부여되고, 상기 디스플레이패널의 짝수번의 열선을 구동하는 제2소오스구동회로를 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 액정디스플레이패널을 배정세도표시와 표준정세도표시의 어느 하나로 절환해서 화상표시하기 위한 액정표시구동방법에 있어서, 배정세도표시의 경우는 입력에널로그화상신호를 2개의 A/D변환기에 의해 동일한 샘플링주기에서 또한 서로 역상의 2개의 샘플링클록에서 각가 샘플링하고, 한쪽의 상기 A/D변환기의 출력을 절반주기 지연함으로써 동일타이밍의 쌍의 디지틀계조데이터를 생성하고, 표준정세도표시의 경우는 상기 애널로그화상신호를 상기 2개의 A/D변환기의 적어도 한쪽에 의해 한쪽의 상기 샘플링클록에서 샘플링해서 서로 동등한 쌍의 디지틀계조데이터를 생성하고, 상기 쌍의 디지틀계조데이터를 신호처리수단에 의해 쌍의 애널로그계조데이터로 변환하고, 상기 쌍의 애널로그계조데이터를 소오스구동회로에 의해 직병렬변환해서 상기 디스플레이패널의 열선에 병렬로 공급하고, 게이트구동회로에 의해 상기 디스플레이패널의 행선을 선택구동하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시 구동방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 게이트구동회로에 의한 선택구동은, 배정세도표시일 때 상기 행선을 1개씩 순차 선택구동하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시 구동방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 게이트구동회로에 의한 선택구동은, 배정세도표시에 있어서 필드마다 홀수번의 행선의 순차 선택구동과 홀수번의 행선의 순차 선택구동을 교호로 교대시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시 구동방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 게이트구동회로에 의한 선택구동은, 배정세도표시시에 어느 프레임에 있어서 인접하는 2개의 행선을 2개 걸러서 순차 선택구동하고 다음 프레임에서 직전의 프레임에 있어서 빼놓은 2개씩의 행을 순차 선택구동하는 것을 필드마다 질환하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시 구동방법.
- 제11항, 제12항 또는 제13항에 있어서, 상기 게이트구동회로에 의한 선택구동은, 표준정세도표시에 있어서 동시에 2개씩 인접하는 행선을 선택구동하는 것을 순차 반복하는 액정표시 구동방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 쌍의 디지틀계조데이터를 상기 쌍의 애널로그계조데이터로 변환하는 스텝은 프레임마다 극성이 반전하고, 또한 서로 역극성인 제1조의 다치전압과 제2조의 다치전압을 발생하는 스텝과, 상기 쌍의 디지틀계조데이터의 한쪽과 다른쪽에 의해 각각 상기 제1 및 제2조의 다치전압으로부터 대응하는 전압을 1개씩 선택해서 상기 쌍의 애널로그계조데이터의 한쪽과 다른쪽으로서 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시 구동방법.
