본 발명은 전기집진기에 관한 것으로, 특히 방전극판과 대전극판을 집진케이스에 일체로 형성시킨 다수의 돌기에 의해 T형상으로 상호교대로 반복 형성하고, 방전극판과 대전극판이 등간격을 유지할수 있도록 한 전기집진기에 관한 것이다.
일반적으로, 전기집진기는 고압의 전기를 이용하여 공기조화기내로 흡입된 먼지를 분해, 대전시킨후 반대전하를 띤 집진필터에 먼지가 흡착 제거되도록 되어있다. 이러한 종래의 대표적인 전기집진기로는 제1도 및 제2도에 도시한 구조를 가지고 있다.
즉, 전기집진기의 전면케이스(1)와 후면케이스(2)에 의해 형성되는 내부 공간에는 활성탄필터(3)와 집진필터(12)를 적층하며, 집진필터(12)와 전면케이스(1)와의 사이에는 대전극판(4)과 방전극판(5)을 위치시켜 전기집진기(6)를 구성한다. 이렇게 구성되는 전기집진기(6)는 제1도에 도시한 바와같이 2개 1조로 이루어지며 양 전기집진기(6)사이에는 전기집진기 가이드(7)가 배설되어 있고, 상기 전기집진기 가이드(7)에는 대전극판(4)과 접속되는 고압단자(8) 및 저압단자(9)을 갖추고 있으며, 상기 대전극판(4)과 방전극판(5)에 의하여 집진할수 있게 되어 있다.
그리고, 상기 저압단자(9)에는 도시하지 않은 전원으로부터 저전압을 인가하도록 저압케이블(11)이 접속되어 있고, 상기 고압단자(8)에는 고전압이 인가되도록 고압케이블(10)이 접속되어 있다.
그러나, 전기적인 집진을 위하여 설치된 대전극판(4)과 방전극판(5)은, 방전극판(5)에 대해 대전극판(4)이 사이사이에 형성되어 있는 것으로써, 조립설치시, 조립자가 일일이 방전극판(5)사이사이에 대전극판(4)을 수작업으로써 끼워넣어야 조립이 완료되므로, 조립생산성저하 및 안전사고 발생등의 문제점이 있었던 것이다.
본 발명은 상기 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 이루어진 것으로써, 본 발명의 목적은 전면케이스에 돌설된 돌기에 상호 교대로 반복해서 방전극판과 대전극판을 자동자업으로 조립할 수 있음과 동시에, 상기 반전극판과 대전극판의 쇼트로 인한 안전사고를 미연에 방지할 수 있으며, 또한 제조코스트를 절감시킬 수 있는 전기집진기를 제공하는데 있다.
상기 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 발명은 전·후면케이스와, 상기 전면케이스의 내측 상·하부에 일정한 간격을 두고 각각 2열 횡방향으로 배열되어 있는 복수의 돌기와, 상부 내측돌기와 하부외측돌기를 따라서 역T자형을 이루도록 지그재그로 설치되며 양단부가 고전압단자에 접속된 방전극판과, 상기 상부외측돌기와 하부내측돌기를 따라서 T자형을 이루도록 지그재그로 설치되며 양단부가 저압단자에 접속된 대전극판과, 전면케이스의 흡입구를 통해 흡입된 공기에 함유된 먼지를 상기 방진극판과 대전극판에 의해서 양이온으로 이온화된 먼지를 흡착하는 집진필터와, 상기 집진필터를 통과한 공기중에 함유되어 있는 담배연기 냄새를 흡착하는 활성탄필터를 구비한 것을 특징으로 한다.
이하, 도면을 참조하여 본 발명의 일실시예를 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
제3도는 본 발명에 의한 전기집진기의 전면케이스에 방전극판 및 대전극판이 설치된 것을 도시한 정면도 이고, 제4도는 제3도의 B-B선 단면도이고, 제5도는 제3도의 C부분을 도시한 요부확대도이고, 제6도는 본 발명에 의한 전기집진기를 도시한 분해사시도이다.
제3도 내지 제6도에 도시되어 있는 바와같이 전기집진기(20)의 전면케이스(21)는 양측이 이면쪽으로 직각되게 절곡되어서 그 양측의 상·하에는 각각 저압 및 고압단자(22),(23)가 배설되어 있고, 상기 전면에는 사각형상의 흡입구(21a)가 형성되어 있다.
그리고, 상기 전면케이스(21)의 상·하부에는 일정한 간격을 두고 각각 2열횡방향으로 배열되는 돌기(21b)가 일체로 돌설되어 있다.
또한, 상기 돌기(21b)에는 지그재그형식으로 반복되는 T형으로 대전극판(24)이 설치되어 있고, 하부에는 지그재그형식으로 반복되는 역T형으로 방전극판(25)이 설치되어 있으며, 전체적으로 대전극판(24)과 방전극판(25)은 상호교대로 반복해서 배열되어 있다. 한편, 상기 대전극판(24)은 저압단자(22)에 접속되고, 방전극판(25)은 고압단자(23)에 접속되어 있다.
그리고, 전면케이스(21)에 형성된 흡입구(21a)내측에는 대전극판(24) 및 방전극판(25)이 배설되어 있고, 후면케이스(26)에 형성된 토출구(26b)와 상기 대전극판(24) 및 방전극판(25)과의 사이에는 집진필터(27) 및 활성탄필터(28)가 배설되어 있다.
즉, 상기 활성탄필터(28)는 대전극판(24) 및 방전극판(25)에 의해 상기 전면케이스(21)의 흡입구(21a)를 통해 흡입되는 공기중에 함유되어 있는 먼지를 집진필터(27)에 의해 집진한 후, 공기중에 함유되어 있는 담배연기 또는 냄새를 제거하도록 후면케이스(26)의 토출구(26b) 내측에 배치되어 있다.
다음에, 이와같이 구성된 본 발명의 작용효과를 설명한다.
제3도 내지 제6도에 도시한 바와같이, 전면케이스(21)의 흡입구(21a)를 통해 먼지를 함유하는 공기가 전기집진기(20)내에 흡입되면, 방전극판(25)에는 도시하지 않은 고압발생기(3-4kv; 도시안됨)로부터 발생된 고전압이 고압케이블(도시안됨)을 따라 +전원이 인가되고, 대전극판(24)에는 고압발생기로부터 발생된 저전압이 고압케이블을 따라 전원이 인가됨에 따라 방전극판(25)과 대전극판(24)과의 간극에는 고압의 방전파가 발생된다.
이때, 방전극판(25)과 대전극판(24)과의 사이를 통과하는 공기에 부유하는 먼지는 양이온으로 이온화되어 접지되어 있는 집진필터(27)에 흡착된다. 또 상기 집진필터(27)에 흡착되지 못하고 통과된 담배연기 또는 냄새는 활성탄필터(28)를 통과하면서 활성탄필터(28)에 흡착되어 냄새가 제거된 후 깨끗한 공기만을 후면케이스(26)의 토출구(26b)를 통해서 토출시킨다. 방전극판(25)과 대전극판(24)은 전면케이스(21)의 이면에 돌설된 돌기(21b)에 의해서 일정한 간격을 유지하도록 되어 있으므로, 어느 한쪽에서 쇼트되는 현상은 발생되지 않으므로, 방전효과가 증대되어 집진성능을 향상시킴과 동시에, 안전사고도 방지할 수 있으며, 장수명화를 유지할 수 있다.
이상에서 설명한 바와같이 본 발명의 전기집진기에 의하며, 전면케이스의 내측에 일정한 간격을 두고 2열횡방향으로 상·하부에 각각 돌기를 일체로 돌설하고, 이 돌기에 방전극판과 대전극판이 상호교대로 반복설치되어 있으므로, 방전극판과 대전극판 사이에 쇼트가 발생되는 현상을 방지할수 있으며, 안전사고로부터의 위험을 미연에 방지할수 있음과 동시에, 방전극판과 대전극판을 전면케이스에 돌설된 돌기에 상호교대로 반복되는 자동작업공정으로 조립이 완료되므로 조립생산성향상으로 제조코스트를 절감시킬 수 있다는 매우 뛰어난 효과가 있다.

Claims (1)

  1. 전 후면케이스(21,26)와, 상기 전면케이스(21)의 내측 상 하부에 일정한 간격을 두고 각각 2열 횡방향으로 배열되어 있는 복수의 돌기(21b)와, 상부 내측돌기와 하부외측돌기를 따라서 역T자형을 이루도록 지그재그로 설치되며 양단부가 고전압단자(23)에 접속된 방전극판(25)과, 상기 상부외측돌기와 하부내측돌기를 따라서 T자형을 이루도록 지그재그로 설치되며 양단부가 저압단자(22)에 접속된 대전극판(24)과, 전면케이스(21)의 흡입구(21a)를 통해 흡입된 공기에 함유된 먼지를 상기 방전극판(25)과 대전극판(24)에 의해서 양이온으로 이온화된 먼지를 흡착하는 집진필터(27)와, 상기 집진필터(27)를 통과한 공기중에 함유되어 있는 담배연기 냄새를 흡착하는 활성탄필터(28)를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 전기집진기.
