Abstract

원위에 위치되어 있는 일체로 된 벌룬을 구비하고 있는 단일 루우맨 카테터튜브와 상기 카테터의 원위끝단을 수용하여 폐쇄하기 위하여 축방향으로 이동할 수 있는 원위밸브부재를 구비하고 있는 붙박이 안내와이어로 이루어져 있는 밸브장착 단일 루우맨 벌룬 카테터 조립체가 개시되어 있다. 안내와이어의 직경은 원위끝단에서 축소되고 벌룬의 원위에서의 카테터튜브의 루우맨 직경은 벌룬의 근위직경 이하로 축소되어 원위에서의 안내와 이어의 축방향 이동이 제한된다.

제1도와 제2도는 본 발명의 카테터 안내와이어 조립체의 일실시예의 확대부분 입면도이다.

Claims (9)

  1. (a)근위 끝단고 개방원위 끝단 그리고 상기 원위 끝단에 근접하여 상기 두 끝단 중간에 있는 팽창가능 벌룬부를 구비하고 있는 단일 루우맨 카테터, (b)상기 개방끝단 뒤로 상기 루우맨을 통하여 축방향으로 뻗어있는 가용성 안내와이어, 상기 안내와이어는 루우맨내에서 축방향으로 이동가능하고, 제1직경 근위 부분과 제1직경보다 직경이 작은 제2직경의 원위 부분을 구비하며, 상기 제1직경은 카테터 루우맨 원위 벌룬의 직경보다 더 크다. 및 (c)상기 벌룬부내에서 상기 안내 와이어를 둘러싸며 그것의 한족 단부는 벌룬의 한쪽단부에 고정되어 있고 그것의 다른쪽 단부는 상기 벌룬의 다른쪽 단부에 고정되어 있고 그것의 다른쪽 단부는 상기 벌룬의 다른쪽 단부에 고정되어 있는 가용성 코일, 및 (d)상기 카테터의 상기 개방원위 끝단을 뒤로 안내와이어상에서 이송되고 상기 밸브부재가 카테터의 상기 개방원위 끝단으로 부터 축방향으로 이격되어 있는 제1위치와 밸브부재가 상기 카테터의 상기 개방원위 끝단에 대향하여 고정되고 폐쇄되는 제2위치 사이에서 안내와이어의 축방향 이동에 의해 축방향으로 이동되는 밸브부재를 조합하여 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 밸브장착 단일 루우맨 벌룬 카테터 조립체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 안내 와이어의 상기 원위부분의 길이가 적어도 벌룬의 근위끝단으로부터 밸브부재까지의 축방향 길이만큼 긴 것을 특징으로 하는 조립체.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 안내와이어의 원위부분과 벌룬에 원위인 카테터 루우맨 사이의 틈새가 작은 것을 특징으로 하는 조립체.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 안내와이어의 근위와 원위부분 사이의 전이는 스텝전이인 것을 특징으로 하는 조립체.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 카테터의 원위팁은 상기 밸브부재가 상기 원위팁에 대향하여 가압될 때 상기 밸브부재의 윤곽에 따르고 비틀림되는 부드러운 플라스틱으로 만들어진 것을 특징으로 하는 조립체.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 카테터의 원위팁에 대향하여 위치하는 상기 밸브주재의 표면이 통상적인 구형인 것을 특징으로 하는 조립체.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 코일의 적어도 일부는 방사선 불투과성 재료로 만들어진 것을 특징으로 하는 조립체.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 카테터는 소정의 벽두께와 가요성을 갖는 근위부분과 상기 근위부분보다 덜 두꺼운 벽두께와 더 가요성이 있는 원위부분으로 이루어져 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 조립체.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 안내와이어의 근위부분의 직경은 12mil 내지 18mil(305 내지 457㎛)이고 원위부분의 두꺼운 직경은 5mil 내지 10mil(127 내지 254㎛)인 것을 특징으로 하는 조립체.
