Abstract

본 발명은 움직임보상 DPCM(Differential Pulse Code Modulation)방식에서 추정된 움직임벡터로부터 움직임 보상에러값을 조합하여 보다 더 미세한 움직임보상이 가능하도록한 부화소움직임주정방법에 관한 것으로, 두 프레임화면의 움직임영역에 따라 화소단위의 움직임벡터를 추정하고 추정된 움직임벡터에 준하여 부변화소위치에서의 움직임보상에러치를 비교조합함으로써 부화소미세조정치를 추정하는 단계를 포함한다.

본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제1도는 종해의 반화소단위움직임벡터추정방법을 설명하기 위한 예시도.
제2도는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 움직임보상에러를 이용한 반화소움직임벡터추정방법을 설명하기 위한 블럭도.
제3도는 제2도의 좌우반화소조정부에 대한 예시도.
제4도는 좌우반화소조정부의 미세조정치 결정방법을 설명하기 위한 도표이다.

Claims (1)

  1. 움직임보상에러를 이용한 부화소(sub-pixel)움직임추정방법에 있어서, 이웃하는 두 프레임화면에 대한 각각의 움직임탐색영역을 설정하는 단계; 설정된 움직임 탐색영역에 따라 이전프레임에 대한 현재 프레임의 움직임벡터를 화소단위로 추정하는 단계; 추정된 화소단위의 움직임벡터로부터 수평 및 수직방향으로 주변화소위치에서의 움직임보상에러치를 각각 산출하는 단계; 및 산출된 주변움직임보상에러치들을 추정된 움직임벡터의 움직임 보상에러치에 기준하여 상호 비교하고 비교된 값의 조합에 따라 부화소조정치를 추정하여 상기 움직임벡터에 추가하는 단계를 포함하는 움직임보상에러를 이용한 부화소움직임추정방법.
