Abstract

관이음은 수축가능한 하우징(10)을 구비하며, 하우징내에는 단면이 C형상으로 되어 있고 서로를 향해 연장되는 밀봉 립(36)을 구비한 탄성체 밀봉 슬리브(32)가 배치된다. 단면이 U형상으로 되어 있고 슬롯(74)이 제공되어 있는 구불구불한 스프링 링(44)은 각각의 환상 홈(42)내에 삽입되어 슬리브 바(34)에 대해 밀봉 립(36)을 지지한다. 하우징(10)이 수축되면, 슬리브(32)는 외주방향으로 똑바로 고정되며 밀봉 립(36)은 부드럽게 관벽(55)에 놓여진다. 동시에 스프링 링(44)은 슬롯(74)의 폭의 감소에 따라 수축된다. 밀봉 립(36)은 스프링 링(44)에 의해서 큰 영역에 걸쳐서 지지되며, 슬리브(32)의 재료가 슬롯(74)을 통해서 슬롯내로 유입되는 것이 방지된다. 밀봉 립(36)위로 돌출되는 스프링 다리부(68)는 원환체(56)가 슬리브 비(34)에 점착되는 것을 방지한다. 본 발명의 관이음은 높은 동작온도 및 온도변화가 심한 경우에 사용하기 적절하다(제3도).

제1도 및 제2도는 각각 본 발명에 따른 관이음 평면도, 및 부분단면 측면도, 제3도는 각각 연결되는 관이 끼워맞춤되기 전 및 후의 상태를 보여주는 본 발명에 따른 관이음 일부의 확대 종단면도.

Claims (6)

  1. 단면이 C형상으로 되어 있는 탄성체 밀봉 슬리브(32)를 구비하며, 서로를 향해 연장되는 그 슬리브의 밀봉립(36)은 스프링(44)에 의해 슬리브 바(34)상에서 지지되고, 슬리브는 폐쇄부재(46)에 의해 수축될 수 있는 하우징(10)에 의해 둘러싸이고 슬리브(32) 및 하우징(10)사이에 삽입되고 하우징(10)내의 길이방향 갭(16)에 연결되는 삽입판(18)에 의해 둘러싸이며, 슬리브(32)의밀봉 립(36)은 하우징(10)이 압축되기 전에 연결될 관(54)의 공칭 직경(D)보다 큰 치수로 이루어지며, 하우징(10)이 압축되면 외주방향으로 똑바로 고정될 수 있고 스프링 링(44) 에의해 인가되는 압력의 결과 관벽(55)에 대해 부드럽게 압착될 수 있는 관이음에 있어서, 스프링 링(44)은 U형상 단면을 가지고, 슬리브 바(34)및 밀봉 립(36) 사이의 환상 홈(42)내에서 각각의 밀봉 립 루트(37)와 마주보는 스프링 다리부(68,70)와 함께 접합되는 스프링 바(72)를 구비하여 배치되며, 양쪽 다리부(68,70)의 경계(69,71)에서 퍼져서 중첩되고 하우징(10)이 압축될 때 큰 영역에 걸쳐 밀봉립(36)을 지지할 수 있도록 사전 결정된 최소 슬롯 폭으로 좁혀질 수 있는 슬롯(74)을 구비함을 특징으로 하는 관이음.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 스프링 다리부, 바람직하게는 밀봉 립(36)에 할당된 스프링 다리부(68)가 황상 홈(42) 밖으로 그리고 밀봉 립(36)의 자유단 위로 축방향으로 돌출됨을 특징으로 하는 관이음.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 밀봉 립(36)은, 하우징(10)이 압축될 때, 밀봉 립(36)의 단부 위로 돌출되는 스프링 다리부(68)에 놓이는 원환체(56)에 의해 슬리브 바(34)상에 지지됨을 특징으로 하는 관이음.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 원활체(56)는 밀봉 립(36)의 단부상에 형성되고 슬리브 바와 마주보는 측부상에서 상기 밀봉 립에 형성되며, 밀봉 립(36)에 할당된 스프링 다리부(68)는 원환체(56)를 둘러쌈을 특징으로 하는 관이음.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 원주 환상 리브(76)은 내측에서 슬리브 바(34)상에 형성되며, 환상 리브은 환상 홈(42)위에 여유를 갖고 넣어짐을 특징으로 하는 관이음.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 스프링 링(44)은 개방 링으로서 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 관이음.
