Abstract

휘도 및 색도신호를 갖는 영상신호에 있어서, 수평주사선간의 상관량을 검출하는 수단과, 영상신호중의 고주파 성분을 검출하는 수단과; 상기의 검출된 상관량과 고주파 성분을 혼합하는 수단과; 적어도 화면의 일부분에 대한 창신호를 발생하는 수단과; 상기의 창신호에 의해 상기의 상관량, 고주파 성분 혹은 혼합기의 출력량을 제어하거나 차단할 수 있는 제어수단과; 상기의 혼합된 신호에 의해 영상신호의 전이부분에 부가하는 프리슈트 혹은 오버슈트의 양을 제어하는 윤곽보정회로를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 윤곽보정회로로서 영상신호에 있어서, 움직임이 적은 부분 즉 상관성이 많은 부분 및 화면이 구성이 세밀하지 않은 부분 즉 고역주파수의 성분이 적은 부분에서 윤곽보정량을 많게 하고 반대의 경우에 있어서는 윤곽보정량을 적제함으로서 화면이 내용에 따라 적절한 윤곽보정을 행하는 것이 가능해지며 문자정보등의 부가정보 혹은 독립정보가 중첩되는 화면의 주변부에 관해서는 윤곽보정량을 작게하거나 차단하여 부가정보 혹은 독립정보의 영향을 받지 않고 영상신호에 대해 최적의 윤곽보정신호를 부가하는 것이 가능하게 된다.

Claims (5)

  1. 휘도 및 색도신호를 갖는 영상신호의 천이부분에 프리슈트 혹은 오버슈트를 부가하는 윤곽보정장치에 있어서, 영상신호의 수평주사선간의 상관량을 검출하는 수단과; 영상신호중의 고주파 성분을 검출하는 수단과; 상기의 검출된 상관량과 고주파 성분을 혼합하는 수단과; 상기의 혼합된 신호에 의해 영상신호의 전이부분에 부가하는 프리슈트 혹은 오버슈트의 양을 제어하는 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 윤곽보정장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기의 제어수단은 전압제어증폭기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 윤곽보정장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 적어도 화면의 일부분에 대한 창신호를 발생하는 수단과; 상기의 창신호에 의해 상기의 상관량, 고주파 성분 혹은 혼합기의 출력량을 제어하거나 차단할 수 있는 제어수단을 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 윤곽보정장치.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기의 제어수단은 전압제어증폭기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 윤곽보정장치.
  5. 제3항에 있어서, 상기의 제어수단은 아날로그 스위치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 윤곽보정장치.
