Abstract

본 발명은 셀룰로오즈성 슬러리를 포함하는 무기 충전제로부터 종이 생성물을 형성시키는 제지방법에 관한 것이다. 보유 성능은 양이온성 충전물 바이어싱류, 음이온성 응집제 및 이후에 특정한 미립자를 순차적으로 가함으로써 제공된다. 전단 단계는 응집제 첨가와 미립자 첨가 단계 사이에서 수행한다. 미립자는 알루미늄의 무기 양이온성 공급원이다.

Claims (17)

  1. 수성 셀룰로오즈성 슬러리[여기서, 슬러리는 하나 이상의 전단단계에 처리한다]를 형성시키고, 당해 슬러리에 무기 충전제를 가한 다음, 당해 슬러리에 양이온성 충전물 바이어싱류(biasing species)를 가하고, 당해 슬러리를 배수시켜 시이트를 형성시킨 다음, 당해 시이트를 건조시켜 종이 생성물을 형성시키는 제지 방법에 있어서, 양이온성 충전물 바이어싱류를 가한 후에 슬러리에 음이온성 응집제를 가한 다음 당해 슬러리를 전단 단계에 처리하고, 이어서 당해 슬러리를 배수시키기 전에 슬러리에 미립자[여기서, 미립자는 입자 크기 분포가 약 1 내지 약 1,000nm의 범위인 알루미늄의 무기 양이온성 공급원이다]를 가함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 미립자가 응집제임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 미립자가 폴리알루미늄 클로라이드임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 미립자의 입자 크기가 최대 약 500nm인 방법.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 미립자가 무수 슬러리 고체 100중량부당 약 0.001 내지 약 5.0중량부의 양으로 슬러리에 가해짐을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  6. 제1항 내지 제5항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 양이온성 충전물 바이어싱류의 양이온성 충전물 밀도가 양이온성 충전물 바이어싱류 1kg당 양이온성 질소 약 4내지 약 8당량임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 제1항 내지 제6항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 양이온성 충전물 바이어싱류가 양이온성 전분인 방법.
  8. 제1항 내지 제6항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 양이온성 충전물 바이어싱류가 양이온성 단량체 단위가 50몰% 이상이고 중량평균분자량이 500,000 이하인 합성 중합체임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  9. 제1항 내지 제8항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 양이온성 충전물 바이어싱류가 무수슬러리 고체 100중량부당 약 0.05 내지 약 2.5중량부의 양으로 슬러리에 가해짐을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  10. 제1항 내지 제9항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 음이온성 응집제가 5몰% 이상의 음이온성 단량체 단위를 갖는 합성 중합체임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  11. 제1항 내지 제9항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 음이온성 응집제가 약 10내지 약 70몰%의(메트)아크릴산 단량체 단위를 포함하는 합성 중합체임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  12. 제1항 내지 제9항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 음이온성 응집제가 중량 평균분자량이 1,000,000 이상인 합성 중합체임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  13. 제1항 내지 제12항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 음이온성 응집제가 무수 슬러리 고체 100중량부당 약 0.005내지 약 0.2중량부의 양으로 슬러리에 가해짐을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  14. 제1항 내지 제13항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 음이온성 응집제를 가하는 시점에서의 슬러리의 pH가 중성 내지 알칼리성임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  15. 제1항 내지 제14항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 음이온성 응집제를 가하는 시점에서의 슬러리의 조도가 약 1% 이하임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  16. 제1항 내지 제15항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 무기 충전제가 탄산칼슘이고, 당해 탄산칼슘이 슬러리 중의 무수 펄프 100중량부당 약 2내지 약 50중량부의 양의 CaCO3로서 슬러리에 가해짐을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  17. 제1항 내지 제16항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 음이온성 응집제 첨가후의 전단 단계가 센트리스크린(Centriscreen)에 의해 제공됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
