Claims (9)

  1. 모듈형 전기 커넥터에 있어서, 적어도 일부분이 전도성인 실드 및 프레임 부재(12,36)과, 적어도 하나의 실드 케이블(28)의 전도성 실드부(96)에 고정된 전도성 실드 부재(84)와 상기 적어도 하나의 실드 케이블중 하나에 내장된 도체에 전기적으로 각각 연결되는 다수의 단자(42)가 장착된 절연 하우징을 각 모듈이 갖는 다수의 모듈헝 소조립체(30)과, 상기 전도성 실드부재와 상기 실드 및 프레임 부재의 전도성 부분을 기계적 및 전기적으로 맞물고 연결하며 상기 각 모듈형 소조립체를 상기 실드 및 프레임부재에 분리가능하게 고정하는 래치 수단(34, 86)과, 상기 실드 케이블의 전도성 실드부와 상기 실드 및 프레임 부재의 상기 전도성 부분 사시에 접지 회로를 형성하도록 상기 실드 및 프레임 부재의 상기 전기 전도성 부분을 상기 전도성 실드부재에 전기적으로 연결하는 상호 연결수단(32,37,84,86)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 모듈형 전기 커넥터.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 실드 및 프레임 부재가 상기 다수의 모듈형 소조립체를 수용하는 개구 수단(38)을 갖는 절연 프레임 부재(36)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 모듈형 전기 커넥터.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 실드 및 프레임 부재의 상기 전도성 부분(12)가 다수의 돌출부를 포함하고, 상기 돌출부는 상기 상호연결 수단의 일부분을 형성하고 상기 모듈내에 수용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 모듈형 전기 커넥터.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 실드 및 프레임 부재의 상기 전도성 부분(12)가 다수의 돌출부(32)를 포함하고, 상기 돌출부는 상기 상호 연결 수단의 일부분을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 모듈헝 전기 커넥터.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 실드 및 프레임 부재의 상기 전도성 부분(12)가 스탬프 및 성형된 금속부품을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 모듈형 전기 커넥터.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 소조립체가 상기 실드 및 프레임 부재에 고정될 때 상기 모듈형 소조립체를 둘러싸는 절연 커버(22)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 모듈형 전기 커넥터.
  7. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 소조립체가 상기 실드 및 프레임 부재에 고정될 때 상기 모듈형 소조립체를 둘러싸는 절연커버를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 모듈형 전기 커넥터.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 각각의 상기 모듈(30)이 절연 외부 하우징(82)를 포함하고 상기 전도성 필드부재가 상기 외부 하우징내에 위치하며, 상기 전도성 실드 부재가 한 쌍의 스탬프 및 성헝된 부품(84)를 포함하고, 각 스탬프및 성형된 부품은 실드된 케이블의 전도성 실드부(96)과 접촉하는 꼬리부(94)와, 상기 프레임부재의 상기 전기 전도성 부분과 결합하는 래치부(87,86)과, 상기 래치부가 상기 프레임 부재의 상기 전도성 부분으로부터 분리될 수 있도록 상기 외부 하우징의 개구를 통하여 돌출하는 부분(96)을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 모듈형 전기 커넥터.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 실드 및 프레임 부재의 상기 전도성 부분(12)가, 상기 실드부와상기 스탬프 및 성형된 부품과 실드 케이블의 전도성 실드부사이에 전기적 연결이 이루어지도록 모듈에 의해 한정되는 결합면으로부터 돌출하여 상기 래치 수단과 결합되는 다수의 돌출부(32)를 갖는 스탬프 및 성형된 실드부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 모듈형 전기 커넥터.
