Claims (8)
- 불용성 양극(4)을 갖고 스트립이 음극으로 작용하는 전기화학적 셀에서 전해에 의하여 강철 스트립에 적어도 부분적으로 아연을 함유하는 금속층을 코팅하는 방법에 있어서, 셀내에서 클로라이드 이온과 수소기체 또는 수소를 포함하는 기체를 갖는 전해질이 양극(4)으로 공급되고 양극(4)에서는 다음의 반응(Ⅴ)의 일어나며 :H2→ 2H++2e-(Ⅴ)상기의 반응(Ⅴ)은 양극에서 다음 반응(Ⅳ) :2Cℓ-→ Cℓ2↑+2e-(Ⅳ)보다 우세한 것을 특징으로 하는, 전해에 의하여 강철 스트립에 아연을 함유하는 층을 코팅하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 양극에서 반응(Ⅴ)의 속도는 적어도 반응(Ⅴ)의 속도의 세배인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 양극에서 반응(Ⅳ)는 전부 억제되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에서 제3항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 상기의 반응(V)은 양극에서 촉매의 영향하에서 일어나는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에서 제4항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 상기의 양극은 촉매를 갖는 다공성 양극이고, 상기의 음극을 향하는 양극의 면에 수소기체나 수소를 함유하는 기체를 공급하는 수단을 갖고 있고 그결과 상기 양극의 구멍에서 기체와 전해질이 접촉하고, 기체, 전해질, 양극의 둘에서 상기 촉매의 영향하에 상기의 반응(V)가 일어나는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에서 제5항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 양극과 음극의 전압강하는 10V보다 크지 않은 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에서 제6항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 재생기에서 아연을 용해하여서 전해질에 계속 아연 이온을 공급하고 재생기에서 동시에 생성된 수소는 반응(V)을 위해 양극에 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에서 제7항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 상기의 금속층은 아연 또는 아연-니켈, 아연-철의 합금중에서 선택하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
