제1도는 본 발명의 방법(process)에 따라 사용될수 있는 플라스마 아아크 토오치의 측단면도. 제2도는 본 발명의 방법에 따라 플라스마 아아크 토오치의 작업동안 가스유량과 시간 및 아아크 전류와 시간을 비교한 2개의 그래프, 제3도는 본 발명의 방법에 따라 플라스마 아아크 토오치의 작업을 위한 기본부품 및 부품의 전기적인 상호관계를 도시한 개략도.

Claims (6)

  1. 금속전극 및 이 전극의 방전단부에 인접위치한 노즐조립체를 포함하고, 이 전극의 산화를 최소화시켜 이 전극의 수명을 연장시키는 형식의 플라스마 아아크 토오치를 시동 시키기 위한 방법에 있어서, 이 전극의 방전단부와 노즐 조립체 사이에 비산화가스의 유동을 발생시키는 단계, 이 전극의 방전단부와 노즐조립체사이에 파이럿 아아크를 발생시키는 단계, 이 전극의 방전단부로부터 이 전극 반대쪽의 노즐조립체쪽에 위치한 공작물까지 연장되는 이송형 아아크를 만들도록 파일럿 아아크를 이송시키는 단계를 포함하는 한편 동시에 비산화가스의 유동을 종결시키고 전극의 방전 단부와 노즐조립체사이에 산화가스의 유동을 발생시켜서 이송형 아아크와 산화가스가 이 전극의 방전단부와 공작물사이에 플라스마 가스 유동을 발생시키는 것이 특징인 개량 플라스마 아아크 토오치 시동방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 이송형 아아크를 종결시키는 단계, 및 동시에 산화가스의 유동을 종결시키는 단계, 및 동시에 이 전극의 방전단부와 노즐조립체사이에 비산화가스의 유동을 발생시키는 단계의 연속단계를 연속포함하는 것이 특징인 개량 플라스마 아아크 토오치 시동방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 비산화가스가 본질적으로 질소로 구성되고 산화가스가 본질적으로 산소로 구성된 것이 특징인 개량 플라스마 아아크 토오치 시동방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 노즐조립체가 전극의 방전단부에 인접위치한 상부 노즐부재 및 전극의 반대쪽에 상부 노즐 부재에 인접위치한 하부노즐부재를 포함하되, 상부 및 하부 노즐 부재가 플라스마 가스 유동의 통로를 위하여 각각의 정렬된 보어를 가지며, 플라스마 가스 유동을 액체로 에워싸도록 동시에 파일럿 아아크를 이송시키는 단계를 가지며 상부 및 하부 노즐부재사이에 액체의 유동을 도입하는 단계를 또한 포함하는 것이 특징인 개량 플라스마 아아크 토오치 시동방법.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 액체가 물인것이 특징인 개량 플라스마 아아크 토오치 시동방법.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 전극이 전극의 방전단부에 위치한 일반적으로 원통형의 방사인서트를 포함한 것이 특징인 개량 플라스마 아아크 토오치 시동방법.
