Claims (2)
- 광 도파관에 의해 안내된 광선의 편광을 제어하기 위한 시스템에 있어서, 평행 축들을 따라 광 도파관 상에 동작하도록 배열된 제1 변환기 및 제2변환기 및 평행 축들사이에 배치되고 이곳으로부터 45°의 각으로 변위된 축상에 존재하는 제3 변환기를 포함하는 광 도파관의 복굴절성을 제어하기 위한 장치, 제1 제어 신호를 각각의 제1 및 제2 변환기에 인가하기 위한 장치, 제1 및 제2 제어신호들이 시간 구적내에 있는 것중 제2 제어 신호를 제3 변환기에 인가하기 위한 장치, 광 도파관에 의해 안내된 광선의 편광 상태와 선정된 바람직한 편광 상태 사이의 차를 나타내는 에러 신호를 형성하도록 전기 신호를 프로세싱하기 위한 장치, 및 광 도파관에 의해 안내된 광선의 편광 상태와 바람직한 편광 상태사이의 차를 최소로 하기 위해 에러 신호를 제1 및 제2 제어 신호와 조합하기 위한 장치를 포함하는 것을 트기징으로 하는 시스템.
- 광 도파관에 의해 안내된 광선의 편광을 제어하기 위한 방법에 있어서, 평행 축들을 따라 광 도파관상에 동작하도록 제1 변환기 및 제2 변환기를 배열하는 단계 및 평행 축들과 이곳으로부터 45°의각으로 변위된 곳 사이에 배치된 축상에 제3 변환기를 배치시키는 단계, 제1 제어 신호를 제 1 및 제2 변환기에 인가하는 단계, 제 1 및 제2 제어 신호들이 시간 구적내에 있는 것중 제 2 제어 신호를 제3 변환기에 인가하는 단계, 광도파관에 의해 안내된 광선의 세기를 나타내는 전기 신호를 형성하는 단계, 광 도파관에 의해 안내된 광선의 편광 상태와 선정된 바람직한 편광 상태 사이의 차를 나타내는 에러신호를 형서아하도록 전기 신호를 프로세싱하는 단계, 및 광 도파관에 의해 안내된 광선의 편광 상태와 바람직한 편광 상태 사이의 차를 최소로 하기 위해 에러 신호와 제1 및 제2 제어 신호들을 조합하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
