Description
Claims (33)
- 연신율이 적어도 100%이고, 70℃에서의 압축경화율이 30%미만인 밀봉물질을 포함하는 밀봉수단과 외피를 사용해서 세장형 기재를 주위환경으로 부터 보호하기 위한 방법에 있어서, 상기 밀봉수단을 기재중 일부의 둘레에 위치시키는 단계와, 상기 기재를 상기 외피로 둘러싸서 상기 밀봉물질로 하여금 상기 외피와 상기 기재 사이에서 밀봉부를 제공하도록 하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 외피가 외형상 열적 안정성이 있는 권찰슬리이브를 포함하는 방법.
- 선행 항 중 어느 한항에 있어서, 상기 외피가 거의 일정한 내부 단면적을 가지며, 상기 밀봉물질을 상기 기재의 둘레에 위치시켜서 상기 기재의 단면적을 상기 외피의 그것과 거의 같은 크기로 증가시키는 방법.
- 선행 항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 상기 밀봉수단을 2개의 이격위치에서 상기 기재의 둘레에 위치시키고, 상기 외피로 상기 2개의 밀봉수단을 연결하는 방법.
- 선행 항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 상기 기재가 2개 또는 그 이상의 스플라이스 케이블을 포함하는 방법.
- 선행 항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 상기 밀봉수단이 상기 밀봉물질과, 상기 기재를 삽입하도록 된 적어도 하나의 구멍을 갖는 상당한 강성부를 포함하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 구멍이 상기 상당한 강성부에 의해서 원주방향으로 완전히 둘러싸여 있는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 상당한 강성부가 2개 또는 그 이상의 부품을 포함하고, 상기 구멍을 양분하는 라인을 따라 분리시킬 수 있는 방법.
- 선행 항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 상기 밀봉물질을 상기 밀봉수단의 상당한 강성부에 예비적으로 고정시키는 방법.

- 선행 항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 상기 밀봉물질이 그것을 시공할때에 상기 기재에 대하여 축방향으로 늘어나지 않도록 강화되거나 규제되어 있는 방법.
- 선행 항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 상기 밀봉물질이 광물성 오일로 중량된 스티렌-에틸렌-부틸렌-스티렌 블록 공중합체를 포함하는 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 블록 공중합체가 257,000내지 267,000의 최고 분자량을 갖는 방법.
- 제14항 또는 제15항에 있어서, 상기 밀봉물질이 폴리페닐렌 산화물/폴리아미드 수지를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 선행 항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 상기 밀봉물질이 70℃에서 15%미만의 압축경화율을 갖는 방법.
- 선행중 어느 한항에 있어서, 상기 밀봉물질의 연신율이 적어도 50%인 방법.

- 제19항에 있어서, 상기 밀봉물질이 3.6 ×105dynes/㎠미만의 동적저장계수를 갖는 방법.
- 선행항중 어느 한항의 방법에 의해서 주위환경으로 부터 보회되는 세장형 기재.
- 선행항중 어느 한항에 의해서 정의된 외피와 밀봉수단을 포함하는 세장형 기재를 주위환경으로 부터 보호하기 위한 조립체.
- 선행항중 어느 한항에서 정의된 바와같은, 외피와 세장형 기재 사이에 밀봉부를 형성시키기 위한 밀봉수단.
- 연신율 적어도 100%이고, 70℃에서의 압축경화율이 30%미만이고, 23℃, 1Hz에서의 동적저장 계수가 107dynes/㎠인 밀봉물질.
- 제24항에 있어서, 70℃에서의 압축경화율이 15%미만인 밀봉물질.
- 제24항 또는 제25항에 있어서, 적어도 500%의 연신율을 갖는 밀봉물질.
- 제24항 내지 제26항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 겔을 포함하는 밀봉물질.
- 제24항 내지 제27항에 있어서, 광물성 오일로 중량된 스티렌 에틸렌 부틸렌 스티렌 블록 공중합체를 포함하는 밀봉물질.
- 제24항 내지 제28항에 있어서, 오일로 중량된 블록공중합체와, 폴리페닐렌 산화물/폴리아미드 수지를 포함하는 밀봉물질.
- 제28항 또는 제29항에 있어서, 상용성 부여제를 추가로 포함하는 밀봉물질.
- 다음의 성질을 갖는 밀봉물질 초기 연화점 : 160-180℃동적 저장계수 : 15 ×105-2 ×105Dynes/㎠(23℃,1Hz) 동적 기계적 감쇠율 : 0.15-0.4(23℃,1Hz) 인장강도(23℃) : 1.0MPa미만 연신율 : 100%이상 압축경화율(70℃) : 10%미만 압축경화율(90℃) : 20%미만.
- 제31항에 있어서, (a)비교적 경질의 블록과 비교적 탄성이 큰 블록을 함유한 블록 공중합체와; (b) 상기 블록공중합체의 경질블록에 대하여 적어도 부분적으로 상용성을 가지고 그것에 비해 높은 유리전이 온도 또는 연화온도를 갖는 추가적 중합체 또는 공중합체 물질과; (c) 상기 블록공중합체의 탄성 블록을 중량 및 연화시키는 중량 액체를 포함하는 밀봉물질.
