Description

비선형 광학 화합물, 비선형 광학 매질, 비선형 광학 매질의 제조방법 및 광파의 진동수를 배가하는 장치
본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제1도는 본 발명에 따른 NLO 화합물을 제조하기 위한 반응도식을 나타낸 것이고,
제2도는 본 발명에 따른 NLO 화합물을 제조하기 위한 또 다른 반응도식들을 나타낸 것이고,
제3도는 본 발명에 따른 장치를 도시한 것.

Claims (11)

  1. π-짝지은 계에 의해 결합된 전자 공여 그룹 및 전자 수여 그룹을 포함하며, 전자 수여 그룹이 알킬, 하이드록시알킬 및 알킬(메트)아크릴레이트로 이루어진 그룹중에서 선택된 치환체를 포함할 수 있는 설폰그룹임을 특징으로 하는 비선형 광학 화합물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 전자 공여 그룹이 하기 일반식(2)의 그룹인 비선형 광학 화합물.
    상기식에서 n은 1이상의 정수이고, R2는 수소 또는 (메트)아크릴레이트이다.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 전자 공여 그룹이 하기 일반식(3)의 아미노 그룹인 비선형 광학 화합물.
    상기식에서, n은 1이상의 정수이고, R3은 수소 또는 알킬이며, R4는 수소 또는 (메트)아크릴레이트이다.
  4. 제1항 내지 3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, π-짝지은 계가 하기 일반식(4)의 구조를 가지는 비선형 광학 화합물.
    상기식에서, a는 0, 1 또는 2이고, b는 1 또는 2이며, A는 전자 수여 그룹이고, D는 전자 공여 그룹이다.
  5. 중합체 매트릭스 및 편극-배열된 비선형 광학 화합물을 포함하며, 비선형 광학 화합물이 π-짝지은 계에 의해 결합된 전자 공여 그룹 및 전자 수여 그룹을 포함하고, 전자 수여 그룹이 설폰그룹임을 특징으로 하는 비선형 광학 매질.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 비선형 광학 화합물이 제1항 내지 4항의 화합물인 비선형 광학 매질.
  7. 제5항 또는 6항에 있어서, 비선형 광학 화합물이 중합체 매트릭스에 공유결합된 비선형 광학 매질.
  8. 제5항 내지 7항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 중합체 매트릭스가 포리(매트)아클릴레이트인 비선형 광학 매질.
  9. 폴리메틸메타크릴이트중의, 전자수여 그룹으로서 설폰그룹을 포함하는 비선형 광학 화합물의 고형 용액을 고형유액의 유리전이온도 이상의 온도로 가열시킨 후, 직류 전기장하에서 포울링(Poling)시키고, 용액을 유리전이온도 이하의 온도로 냉각시킴을 특징으로 하여, 비선형 광학 매질을 제조하는 방법.
  10. 치환체로서 (매트)아크릴레이트 그룹을 갖는 설폰 그룹을 포함하는 비선형 광학 화합물을 (매트)아크릴레이트 단량체의 존재 또는 부재하에 중합시킨후, 생성된 중합체를 직류 전기장하에 유리전이온도 이상의 온도에서 포울링시키고, 계속해서 유리전이온도 이하의 온도로 냉각시킴을 특징으로 하여, 제7항의 비선형 광학 매질을 제조하는 방법.
  11. 기본 광파를 비선형 광학 매질로 통과시킴으로써 제2고조파를 형성하여 광파의 진동수를 해가시키는 장치에 있어서, 비선형 광학 매질이 제5항 내지 8항중 어느 한 항의 매질임을 특징으로 하는 장치.
