The present invention relates to a constant current LED driving circuit used in a TV, and in particular, a constant current LED driving circuit that maintains a constant brightness of the LED by controlling the output signal of the remote control driving the LED so that a constant current flows through the LED. It's about the furnace.
In the conventional LED driving circuit, an output voltage is directly supplied from each output terminal of the remote control in order to drive the respective LEDs.
Therefore, there is a problem that the LED flickers by changing the output voltage or changing the light brightness of the LED periodically.
The present invention is to make the brightness of the LED constant by allowing a constant current to flow through the LED to solve the above drawbacks described below in detail the present invention by the accompanying drawings.
Transistor through a resistor (R 2) the emitter terminal of the An output terminal of the remote control (Remote) via the resistor (R 1) connected to the base terminal of the transfected registry (TR 1) and the transistor (TR 1) (TR 2) Is connected to the base terminal of the transistor and grounded through the diode D 1 and D 2 , and the collector terminal of the transistor TR 1 is connected so that the power supply voltage VDD is applied through the capacitor C 1 . the emitter terminal of the (TR 2) the collector terminal is a light emitting diode (LED 1) (LED 2) supply voltage (VDD) connected to the input and the transistor (TR 2) through the to the ground via a resistor (R 3) In the figure, reference numeral IC 1 is a current flowing through the collector of the transistor TR 1 , IC 2 is a current flowing through the collector of the transistor TR 2 , and I 1 is a current flowing through the diode D 1 (D 2 ). And I 2 is the current through resistor R 3 .
Referring to the effect of the present invention configured as described above are as follows.
First, the remote control (Remote) when the output terminal is at a high signal applied to the base terminal of the transistor (TR 1) transistor (TR 1) is turned on the power source voltage (VDD) is a capacitor (C 1) and a transistor (TR 1) of on through the collector and emitter flows in the resistance (R 2) Thus, the resistance (R 2), the voltage drop (VA) geolrimyeonseo diode (D 1) against the other hand, is reminded to flow through the (D 2) (R 2) applied voltage (VA) is so applied to the base terminal of the transistor (TR 2) the transistor (TR 2) is in the oN state thus the power source voltage (VDD) is a light emitting diode (LED 1) (LED 2) and transistor (TR 2) It flows through the resistor (R 3 ) through the collector and emitter terminals of.
At this time, the voltage drop (VA) is a diode (D 1) the voltage between the base and the emitter of the voltage (VD 1) transistor (TR 2), so configured as (VD 2) applied to the (D 2) is a diode (D 1) Is equal to (VD 1 ).
Therefore, the voltage drop VA is equal to the base voltage of the transistor TR 2 and the voltage VD 2 of the diode D 2 is equal to the emitter voltage of the transistor TR 2 .
Therefore, the current I 2 flowing in the emitter of the transistor TR 2 is The current I 2 flowing through the emitter of the transistor TR 2 is kept constant so as not to flow abnormally.
That is, since the emitter current I 2 is equal to the current Ie 2 flowing through the light emitting diode LED 1 (LED 2 ), (I 2) Ie 2 ) The current flowing through the light emitting diode LED 1 (LED 2 ) becomes constant.
On the other hand, the emitter current I 2 If abnormal, current flows through the diode D 1 (D 2 ).
As described above, the present invention controls the transistor to control the signal output from the remote control, thereby strengthening the voltage flowing through the circuit with a resistor and a diode to maintain a constant current flowing through the light emitting diode, thereby changing the current caused by the voltage variation. Since it is not generated, it is possible to provide an advantage that the light brightness of the light emitting diode can be made constant.
