Description
Claims (10)
- 유리질 물질등의 용융물을 생산하는 단계와, 적어도 그 용융물의 일부분을 발포시키기에 충분한 아대기압으로 유지되는 융용물 체적위의 공간으로 그 용융물의 흐름을 유도하는 단계로 구성되는 유리질 물질등의 용융 및 정련방법에 있어서; 상기 공간을 통과하는 통로중 적어도 일부분을 따라서 단일 원통형 이외의 형상으로 상기 공간을 통해 지나가는 흐름을 제공하여 그 흐름을 상기 아대기압에 더 오래 노출시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 유리질 물질의 용융 및 정련 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 여러개의 흐름이 적어도 상기 공간의 일부분을 통과하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 흐름이 상기 공간에 들어갈 때 유입 오리피스의 형태에 의해 그 흐름에 비원통형 형상이 부여되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 흐름이 상기 공간에 들어간후 그 공간내에 고체 부재와 접촉함으로써 그 흐름이 재성형되어 분류되고, 유동 속도가 지연되며, 두께가 얇아지거나, 흐름의 유동로가 확장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 정련된 용융 물질 량을 보유하기에 적합한 용기로서, 그 안에 상기 용융 물질 위로 상부 공간이 있으며 그 상부 공간내에 아대기압을 부과하기에 적합한 상기 용기와; 상기 용기의 상부 공간 부위로 추가 용융물의 흐름을 들여보내는 유입구; 구성되는 용융 유리등의 정련장치에 있어서; 상기 유입구와 연결되어서 단일 원통형 이외의 형상으로 상기 흐름중 적어도 일부분을 상기 상부 공간에 제공하는 흐름 성형 수단(36)을 특징으로 하는 용융 유리 정련 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 흐름 성형 수단이 상기 유입구중의 일부분(62,63;65;67;70,71;75)으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서, 흐름 성형 수단(90,91;100;105)이 상기 유입구 밑으로 상부공간내에 지지되는 면을 적어도 하나 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제5-7항들중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 흐름 성형 수단이 격자나 그물(67)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제5-7항들중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 흐름 성형 수단(75;90,91)이 여러개의 오리피스들을 갖는 용기인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제5-7항들중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 흐름 성형 수단이 예를 들어 수평으로 뻗어있는 홈통처럼, 유도로내에 거의 수평 요소를 갖는 면(100,101)을 제공하도록 지지되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
