Claims (32)

  1. 매트릭스-형성 물질이 20℃에서 액체이며 영 앤드 듀 퓨레(Young and Dupre) 방정식을 사용하여 측정했을때, 처리된 비이드의 표면 장력이 액체 매트릭스-형성 물질의 표면 장력보다 크고 70mN/m 이하의 값을 갖도록 표면 처리된 비이드를 유리 비이드가 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 매트릭스에 통합시키기 위한 유리 비이드와 함께 마아킹(marking) 물질의 매트릭스를 형성할 수 있는 물질을 포함하는 마아킹 키트.
  2. 영 앤드 듀 퓨레(Young and Dupre) 방정식을 사용하여 측정했을때, 처리된 비이드의 표면 장력이 70 mN/m 이하의 값을 갖도록 표면처리된 비이드를 유리비이드가 포함하며 매트릭스-형성 물질이 액체 상태이며, 처리된 비이드의 표면 장력이 첫번째 접촉시 상기 매트릭스-형성 물질의 표면 장력보다 큰 그러한 조건하에서 상기 비이드와 이러한 매트릭스 형성 물질을 접촉시키는 지시가 키트에 포함된 것을 특징으로 하는, 매트릭스에 통합시키기 위한 유리 비이드와 함께 마아킹(marking) 물질의 매트릭스를 형성할 수 있는 물질을 포함하는 마아킹 키트.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 처리된 유리 비이드의 표면 장력이 30-51mN/m 범위내에 있는 마아킹 키트.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 처리된 유리 비이드의 표면 장력이 33-48mN/n 및, 바람직하게는 37-45mN/m인 마아킹 키트.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 처리된 유리 비이드가 클로로, 브로모, 요오도, 아미노, 클로로아미노, 머캅토 및 에폭시 화합물로 부터 선택된 적어도 하나의 유기 또는 유기-금속성 화합물을 함유하는 표면 코우팅을 갖는 마아킹 키트.
  6. 제1항 내지 제5항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 처리된 유리 비이드가 적어도 하나의 실란을 포함하는 표면 코우팅을 갖는 마아킹 키트.
  7. 제1항 내지 제6항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 처리된 유리 비이드가 비이드의 표면 장력을 감소시키는 적어도 하나의 첫번째 물질(“장력 감소제”) 및 장력 감소제로 얻어진 표면 장력의 감소를 조절하는 적어도 하나의 두번째 물질(“장력 조절제”)을 포함하는 물질의 혼합물로 부터 형성된 표면 코우팅을 갖는 마아킹 키트.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 장력 감소제가 유리 비이드 및 상기 매트릭스 사이에 결합을 형성할 수 있는 커플링 화합물을 포함하는 마아킹 키트.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 장력 감소제가 에폭시 -, 페닐 -, 및 아미노-실란 또는 올레핀형 실란으로 부터 선택되는 유기-관능 실란을 포함하는 마아킹 키트.
  10. 제7항 내지 제9항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 상기 장력 조절제가 클로로, 브로모, 요오도, 아미노, 클로로 아미노, 머캅토 및 에폭시 화합물로부터 선택된 유기 또는 유기-금속 화합물을 포함하는 마아킹 키트.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 장력 조절제가 클로로 실란을 포함하는 마아킹 키트.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 상기 장력 조절제가 클로로페닐 실란 또는 클로로프로필 실란인 마아킹 키트.
  13. 제7항 내지 제12항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 처리된 비이드상의 코우팅이 장력 감소제 중량버가 1-3배 많은 장력 조절제를 포함하는 마아킹 키트.
  14. 소수성이고 표면 장력이 영 앤드 듀퓨레 방정식을 사용하여 측정했을때, 30-70mN/m인 것을 특징으로 하는 표면 처리된 유리 비이드.
  15. 제14항에 있어서, 비이드가 제3항 내지 제13항에서 열거한 특징 중 하나 이상을 갖는 것을 또한 특징으로 하는 표면 처리된 유리 비이드.
  16. 클로로, 브로모, 요오도, 아미노, 클로로아미노, 머캅토 및 에폭시 화합물로 부터 선택된 유기 또는 유기-금속성 화합물과 비이드를 접촉시켜, 비이드를 소수성으로 만들고, 영 앤드 듀퓨레 방정식을 사용하여 측정했을때 30-70mN/m인 표면 장력을 처리된 비이드에 부여하는 유형의 표면상에 코우팅을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유리 비이드의 표면 처리방법.
  17. 제16항에 있어서, 처리된 비이드의 상기 표면 장력이 30-51mN/m이도록 상기 화합물들이 선택되는 방법.
  18. 제17항에 있어서, 처리된 비이드의 표면 장력이 33-48mN/m 및 바람직하게는 37-45mN/m이도록 상기 화합물들이 선택되는 방법.
  19. 제16항 내지 제18항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 처리된 비이드의 표면 장력을 감소시키는 적어도 하나의 첫 번째 물질(“장력 감소제”) 및 표면 장력의 이러한 감소를 조절하는 적어도 하나의 두번째 물질(“장력 조절제”)을 포함하는 물질의 혼합물과 비이드를 접촉시키는 방법.
  20. 제19항에 있어서, 상기 장력 감소제가 처리된 비이드에 소수성 및 친올레핀성(oleophilic)을 제공하기 위한 것인 방법.
  21. 제:19항 또는 제20항에 있어서, 상기 장력 감소제가 유리 및 중합체 사이에 결합을 형성할 수 있는 커플링 화합물을 포함하는 방법.
  22. 제19항 내지 제21항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 상기 장력 감소제가 에폭시 -, 페닐 -, 및 아미노-실란 또는 올레핀형 실란으로 부터 선택된 유기-관능 실란을 포함하는 방법.
  23. 제19항 내지 제22항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 상기 장력 조절제가 클로로, 브로모, 요오도, 아미노, 클로로아미노, 머캅토 및 에폭시 화합물로 부터 선택된 상기 유기 또는 유기-금속성 화합물을 포함하는 방법.
  24. 제23항에 있어서, 상기 장력 조절제가 클로로 실란을 포함하는 방법.
  25. 제24항에 있어서, 상기 장력 조절제가 클로로페닐 실란 또는 클로로프로필 실란인 방법.
  26. 제19항 또는 제25항에 있어서, 상기 혼합물이 장력 감소제 중량보다 1-3배 많은 장력 조절제를 포함하는 방법.
  27. 제16항 내지 제26항중 어느 하나에 따른 방법에 의해 처리된 유리 비이드.
  28. 적어도 일부의 비이드가 제14항, 제15항 및 제27항중 어느 한 항에 따른 처리된 유리 비이드인 유리 비이드를 통합하는 합성 매트릭스를 포함하는 반사 표면 마아킹.
  29. 제28항에 있어서, 보조제로써 처리된 유리 비이드와 함께 마아킹의 적어도 50중량%를 구성하는 충전제 및 수지로 부터 형성된 마아킹인 반사 표면 마아킹.
  30. 액체 매트릭스-형성 물질의 마아킹 층을 표면에 적용시키고 이어 여전히 신선하게 철해지고 유동성인 매트릭스-형성 물질 층의 상부위에 유리 비이드를 흩뿌리는 것으로 구성되며 이때 적어도 일부의 유리비이드는, 처리된 비이드의 표면 장력이 영 앤드 듀퓨레 방정식에 의해 측정되었을때, 비이드가 매트릭스-형성 물질에 적용될 경우 그 매트릭스-형성 물질의 표면 장력보다 큰 것으로 70mN/m 이하의 값을 갖도록 표면 처리된 유리 비이드인 것을 특징으로 하는 표면의 반사 마아킹을 위한 방법.
  31. 제30항에 있어서, 상기 유리 비이드가 제15항 또는 제27항에 따른 처리된 유리 비이드를 포함하는 방법.
  32. 제30항 또는 제31항에 있어서, 상기 반사 마아킹이 포장도로 표면에 만들어지는 방법.
