알코올과 산 또는 산무수물을 비산성(非酸性)의 에스테르촉매 존재하에 반응시켜 에스테르를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 에스테르화 반응 혼합물을 진공증류하여 과잉의 알코올 제거하여 조(組)에스테르를 얻고, 조에스테르에 소량의 물을 첨가하여 촉매를 가수분해 시킨후, 상분리한 에스테르상을 염기성 화합물로 중화하여 잔류 산도를 제거한후, 불활성 개스를 주입하면서 진공증류함을 특징으로 하는 고품질의 에스테르의 제조방법.In a method of producing an ester by reacting an alcohol with an acid or an acid anhydride in the presence of a non-acidic ester catalyst, the esterification reaction mixture is vacuum distilled to remove excess alcohol to obtain a crude ester.
