Claims (5)

  1. 각피스톤(1)의 양측면에 피스톤 핀(5)축과 평행으로 수개의 홈(6)을 형성하고, 그 홈(6)을 각각 엔진동작중에 윤활유의 압력포켓을 형성하며 기통 내면벽에 의해 밀봉되는, 엔진 동작중에 윤활유 쿠션을 창출하는 내연기관용 개량 피스톤.
  2. 청구 범위 제1항에서, 각홈의 저부가 계란형 모양이 아닌 것.
  3. 청구 범위 제1항에서, 홈이 적당한 계란형으로 되거나 어떤 경우에도 피스톤 스커트(C)보다 작은 것.
  4. 청구 범위 제1항에서 각홈(6)의 중심각 범위가 표준 피스톤 핀 축심의 수직 중심선에서 양쪽으로 각 20°식 도합 약 40°의 각도의 범위인 것.
  5. 청구 범위 제1항 내지 제4항 중의 임의의 하나에서, 각 피스톤의 맞은편에 피스톤의 축심의 평행한 일련의 홈(6)이 있고, 그 홈이 기통 내벽에 의해서 앞면이 밀봉되고, 전기 도시하고 설명한 목적의 압력으로 윤활유를 포함하는 것.
