S3 는 C6-C24알킬렌이고;

D 는 임의로는, 할로겐, 또는 하나 이상의 실록산 모이어티로 1 회 이상 치환된, 탄소수 1 내지 20 의 직쇄형 또는 분지형의 알킬렌 기, 또는 하나 이상의 할로겐, 알킬 또는 알콕시로 임의 치환된 3 내지 8 개의 고리 원자를 갖는 시클로알킬 잔기임]. - 제 7 항 또는 제 8 항에 있어서,
M1 은 아크릴레이트 및 메타크릴레이트로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 단량체 단위이고;
고리 A 는 비치환된 페닐렌, 또는 알킬 또는 알콕시로 치환된 페닐렌이고;
고리 B 는 비치환된 페닐렌, 또는 불소, 알킬 또는 알콕시로 치환된 페닐렌이고;
Y1, Y2 는 각각 독립적으로 단일 공유 결합, -CO-O-, -O-OC- 이고;
m, n 는 각각 독립적으로 0 또는 1 이고;
고리 C 는 비치환된 페닐렌, 또는 알킬 또는 알콕시로 치환된 페닐렌이고;
S1 는 스페이서 단위로, m 및 n 이 0 인 경우, 스페이서 단위는 S2 이고, 적어도 1 개의 m 또는 n 이 1 인 경우, 스페이서 단위는 S3 이며;
이때, S2 는 C4-C24알킬렌이고;
S3 는 C8-C24알킬렌이고;

- 제 10 항에 있어서, 하나 이상의 첨가제가 중합성 액정, UV 경화성 화합물, 가교제, 실란-함유 화합물, 광활성 (photo-active) 첨가제, 광개시제, 계면활성제, 에멀젼화제, 항산화제, 레벨링제, 염료, 에폭시-함유 가교제 및 경화성 화합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는, 조성물.
- 액정용 배향 층으로서의 제 7 항 내지 제 11 항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 조성물의 용도.
- 제 7 항 내지 제 11 항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 조성물을 정렬 광으로 조사하는 것을 포함하는 액정용 배향 층의 제조 방법.
- 제 7 항 내지 제 11 항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 조성물을 포함하는 배향 층.
- 제 7 항 내지 제 11 항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 조성물, 또는 제 14 항에 따른 배향 층을 포함하는 광학, 전기-광학 또는 나노전자 요소.
