각각의 사면(24a, 24b)은 하우징 재킷(14)의 반경 방향 평면과 적어도 5°, 바람직하게는 적어도 10°, 더욱 바람직하게는 적어도 20°의 각도(αa, αb)를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 시스템 구성요소. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 사면들(24a, 24b)은 대향하게 배향되고 금속 시트(18)의 전체 두께에 걸쳐 연장되는 챔퍼(chamfer)인 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 시스템 구성요소. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 사면들(24a, 24b) 중 하나는 금속 시트(18)의 두께의 일부에 걸쳐서만 연장되는 챔퍼인 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 시스템 구성요소. - 제5항에 있어서,
챔퍼로서 형성된 사면(24a, 24b)과 대면하는 사면(24a, 24b)은 금속 시트 연장부(26) 상에 배치되고, 특히 금속 시트 연장부(26)의 반경 방향 두께는 챔퍼의 반경 방향 높이에 실질적으로 대응하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 시스템 구성요소. - 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
상기 단차형 형상은 레이저 침식되는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 시스템 구성요소. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 용접 시임(20)은 레이저 용접 시임이고, 특히 상기 용접 시임(20)은 실질적으로 하우징 재킷(14)의 전체 축방향 길이에 걸쳐서 연장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 시스템 구성요소. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 기재(30)는 장착 매트(28)를 통해 하우징 재킷(14) 상에 장착되고, 특히 상기 장착 매트(28)는 기재(30) 및 하우징 재킷(14) 모두에 대해 실질적으로 편평하게 놓이는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 시스템 구성요소. - 제9항에 있어서, 상기 장착 매트(28)는 중간층 없이, 특히 바인더(binder) 없이 기재(30)에 대해 놓이는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 시스템 구성요소.
- 제9항 또는 제10항에 있어서,
하우징 재킷 원주에 대응하는 치수에서, 상기 하우징 재킷(14)의 금속 시트(18)는 장착 매트에 대해 개별적으로 맞춰지고, 특히 장착 매트의 중량 및/또는 단위 면적 당 중량에 대해 개별적으로 맞춰지는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 시스템 구성요소. - 제1항에 있어서,
반경 방향에서, 상기 하우징 재킷(14)은 실질적으로 일정한 두께를 갖고, 상기 일정한 두께는 시트 두께에 대응하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 시스템 구성요소. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 하우징 재킷(14)의 축방향 단부에 대해 놓이는 영역(20a)에서, 용접 시임(20)은 원통 축선(16)에 대해 경사진 상태로 연장되고, 및/또는 하우징 재킷(14)의 축방향 단부로부터 이격된 중앙 영역(20b)에서, 실질적으로 원통 축선(16)을 따라 연장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 시스템 구성요소. - 제1항에 있어서,
적어도 중앙 영역에서, 상기 용접 시임(20)은 축방향에 대해 0°와 다른 각도로 연장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 시스템 구성요소. - 제1항에 있어서,
하우징 재킷 원주에 대응하는 치수에서, 상기 하우징 재킷(14)의 금속 시트(18)는 기재(30)에 대해 개별적으로 맞춰지는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 시스템 구성요소. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 기재(30)는 실질적으로 하우징 자켓(14)으로부터 비롯된 반경 방향 압축력에 의해 하우징(13) 내에 유지되는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 시스템 구성요소.
