Claims (15)
- 연마 용품으로서,
금속 매트릭스 성분;
금속 매트릭스 성분 내에 분산된 연마 입자 성분; 및
금속 매트릭스 성분 내에 분산된 충전제 입자 성분을 포함하고;
충전제 입자 성분의 일부분은 제1 금속 층에 의해 적어도 부분적으로 코팅되고, 연마 입자 성분의 경도는 충전제 입자 성분의 경도보다 큰, 연마 용품. - 제1항에 있어서, 금속 매트릭스 성분은 복수의 금속 입자를 포함하는, 연마 용품.
- 제2항에 있어서, 약 50 중량% 내지 약 100 중량%의 금속 입자의 경도가 연마 입자 성분의 경도보다 작은, 연마 용품.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 금속 매트릭스 성분은 청동, 및 원소 은과 원소 구리와 원소 주석의 합금을 포함하는, 연마 용품.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 충전제 입자 성분은 복수의 충전제 입자를 포함하는, 연마 용품.
- 제5항에 있어서, 충전제 입자는 흑연 입자, 질화붕소 입자, 유리 입자, 질화규소 입자, 결합제 코크스(binder coke) 입자, 또는 이들의 혼합물인, 연마 용품.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제1 금속 층에 의해 적어도 부분적으로 코팅되는 충전제 입자 성분의 일부분은 충전제 입자의 약 1 중량% 내지 약 100 중량%인, 연마 용품.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제1 금속 층에 의해 적어도 부분적으로 코팅되는 충전제 입자 성분의 일부분의 각각의 충전제 입자의 표면적의 약 20% 내지 약 100%가 제1 금속 층에 의해 코팅되는, 연마 용품.
- 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제1 금속 층은 금속을 포함하는, 연마 용품.
- 제9항에 있어서, 금속은 원소 구리, 원소 주석, 원소 은, 청동, 또는 이들의 합금인, 연마 용품.
- 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 충전제 입자 성분을 적어도 부분적으로 코팅하는 제2 금속 층을 추가로 포함하는, 연마 용품.
- 제1항 내지 제11항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 연마 입자 성분은 복수의 연마 입자를 포함하는, 연마 용품.
- 제12항에 있어서, 연마 입자는 다이아몬드 입자 및 입방정 질화붕소 입자 중 적어도 하나인, 연마 용품.
- 제1항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항의 연마 용품을 형성하는 방법으로서,
충전제 입자 성분을 제1 금속 층으로 적어도 부분적으로 코팅하는 단계;
적어도 부분적으로 코팅된 충전제 입자 성분과, 금속 매트릭스와, 수지를 혼합하여 혼합물을 형성하는 단계;
연마 입자 성분을 혼합물에 첨가하고 혼합물을 추가로 혼합하는 단계; 및
혼합물을 주형과 접촉시키는 단계를 포함하는, 방법. - 제14항에 있어서, 충전제 입자 성분은 플라즈마 증기 코팅에 의해 금속으로 코팅되는, 방법.
