상기 조절기 본체 내에 축방향으로 배치된 핀으로서, 원주방향 홈을 갖는 상측 단부, 유체 유입구를 갖는 하측 단부, 하나 이상의 유체 배출 포트, 및 상기 유체 유입구를 하나 이상의 유체 배출 포트에 연결시키는 유체 통로를 포함하는, 상기 핀과;
상기 핀의 상측 단부 상의 원주방향 홈 내에 정합하게 위치되고, 상기 유체 압력 조절기가 폐쇄될 때 상기 융기된 환상 밸브 시트와 접촉하는 탄성중합체성 O-링과;
상기 핀과 결합하는 바이어싱 부재로서, 상기 탄성중합체성 O-링을 상기 융기된 환상 밸브 시트와 접촉 상태로 유지하고 상기 유체 압력 조절기의 개방 압력을 제어하도록 구성된, 상기 바이어싱 부재
를 포함하는 유체 압력 조절기. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 하나 이상의 유체 배출 포트는 상기 핀 상의 원주방향 홈에 인접하여 위치되는
유체 압력 조절기. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 하나 이상의 유체 배출 포트는 제 1 배출 포트 및 제 2 배출 포트인
유체 압력 조절기. - 제 3 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 배출 포트는 상기 핀의, 상기 제 2 배출 포트와 반대 측에 위치하는
유체 압력 조절기. - 제 3 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 배출 포트는 상기 제 2 배출 포트보다 더 큰 개구를 제공하는
유체 압력 조절기. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 유체 유출구는 상기 하우징 부재의 상측 단부 상의 중앙에 위치되는
유체 압력 조절기. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 바이어싱 부재는 제 1 단부 및 제 2 단부를 갖는 스프링을 포함하며, 상기 제 1 단부는 상기 조정 부재의 상측 단부 상의 환상 시트와 접촉하도록 구성되고, 상기 제 2 단부는 상기 핀 상의 환상 선반(annular shelf)과 접촉하도록 구성되는
유체 압력 조절기. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 탄성중합체성 O-링은 약 0.68 인치 내지 약 0.74 인치 범위의 반경을 갖는
유체 압력 조절기. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 탄성중합체성 O-링이 플루오로엘라스토머로 제조되거나 또는 취급되는 연료와 호환가능한 임의의 탄성중합체가 사용될 수도 있는
유체 압력 조절기. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 조정 부재의 상측 단부는 상기 하우징 부재의 하측 단부의 내부 나사산 표면과 맞물리도록 구성된 외부 나사산 표면을 포함하는

상기 유체 통로 내의 유체는 시간당 약 15 내지 약 200 L 범위의 압력에 있는

상기 하우징 부재는 황동, NP 및 스테인리스 스틸로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 재료로 만들어지고, 상기 조정 부재는 황동, NP 및 스테인리스 스틸로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 재료로 만들어지는
유체 압력 조절기. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 유체 압력 조절기는 에탄올, 메탄올, 가솔린, 디젤, 바이오디젤 및 이들의 혼합물로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 유체의 압력을 조절하는
유체 압력 조절기. - 유체 압력을 조절하는 방법에 있어서,
유체 유입구를 하나 이상의 유체 배출 포트에 연결하는 유체 통로를 유체 압력 조절기 내에 제공하는 단계;
하나 이상의 유체 배출 포트가 유체 압력 조절기 상의 유체 유출구와 유체 연통하지 않는 폐쇄 위치와, 하나 이상의 유체 배출 포트가 유체 유출구와 유체 연통하는 제 2 위치 사이에서 하나 이상의 유체 배출 포트를 이동시키도록 구성된 바이어싱 부재에 상기 유체 통로를 연결하는 단계; 및
상기 바이어싱 부재의 바이어싱 레벨에 기초하여, 상기 유체 압력 조절기를 통한 유체의 유동을 제어하는 단계
