Claims (5)
- 프로필렌에 물을 직접 수화시켜 이소프로필 알코올을 제조하는 이소프로필 알코올의 제조 방법으로서,
프로필렌 및 pH가 2.5~4.5인 물을 반응기에 공급하는 원료 공급 공정;
상기 반응기 내에 있어서, 프로필렌과 물을 반응시키는 반응 공정;
상기 반응 공정에서 얻어진 반응 혼합물로부터 프로필렌을 회수하는 회수 공정;
상기 회수 공정에서 프로필렌이 회수된 반응 혼합물로부터, 이소프로필 알코올보다 비등점이 낮은 저비등점 화합물을 제거하는 제 1 증류 공정; 및
상기 제 1 증류 공정에서 저비등점 화합물이 제거된 반응 혼합물로부터, 물을 제거하여 이소프로필 알코올을 얻는 제 2 증류 공정;을 포함하고,
상기 반응기 내에서의 프로필렌 및 물의 비율이, 프로필렌 100질량부에 대하여 물이 1300~2100질량부이며, 상기 반응기 내에서의 물의 체재 시간이, 20분 초과 50분 이하인, 이소프로필 알코올의 제조 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 원료 공급 공정에 있어서, 순도가 98질량% 이상인 프로필렌을 원료로 하는 이소프로필 알코올의 제조 방법.
- 불순물로서의, 4-메틸-2-펜타놀, 2-메틸-3-펜타논, 및 4-메틸-2-펜타논의 농도가, 모두 질량 기준으로 20 ppb 이하인 이소프로필 알코올.
- 제 3항에 있어서,
불순물로서의, 1, 2-프로판디올, 3-메틸-2-펜타논, 2-헥사논, 3, 3-디메틸-2-부탄올, 2, 3-디메틸-2-부탄올, 2-메틸-2-펜타놀, 3-메틸-3-펜타놀, 2-메틸-3-펜타놀, 1-헥산올, 2-헥산올, 3-헥산올, 3-메틸-2-펜타놀, 2, 2-디메틸-1-부탄올, 2-에틸-1-펜타놀, 2-메틸-1-펜타놀, 3-메틸-1-펜타놀, 4-메틸-1-펜타놀, 2-메틸-2, 4-펜탄디올, 및 2, 3-디메틸-2, 3-부탄디올의 농도가, 모두 질량 기준으로 20 ppb 이하인 이소프로필 알코올.
- 제 3항 또는 제 4항에 있어서,
이소프로필 알코올보다 비등점이 높은 동시에, 탄소수가 5~30인 불순물로서의 고비등점 화합물의 농도가, 모두 질량 기준으로 500 ppb 이하인 이소프로필 알코올.
