Claims (15)
- 배터리 어셈블리 및 증기화기(vaporiser)를 포함하는 전자 증기 제공 디바이스(electronic vapour provision device)로서,
상기 배터리 어셈블리는 전력 셀(power cell) 및 컴퓨터를 포함하고, 상기 증기화기는 상기 배터리 어셈블리에 해체가능하게 연결가능하고, 상기 컴퓨터는 컴퓨터 프로세서 및 메모리를 포함하며,
상기 컴퓨터는,
상기 증기화기가 사용자에 의한 상기 전자 증기 제공 디바이스의 사용 없이 상기 배터리 어셈블리에 연결되는지 여부를 검출하고; 그리고
상기 증기화기가 상기 배터리 어셈블리에 연결될 때까지, 실질적으로 슬립 모드에서 유지하도록 구성된,
전자 증기 제공 디바이스. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 슬립 모드는 저전력 모드인,
전자 증기 제공 디바이스. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 컴퓨터는, 상기 증기화기가 상기 배터리 어셈블리에 연결될 때 연결 모드로 진입하도록 구성되는,
전자 증기 제공 디바이스. - 제 3 항에 있어서,
상기 전자 증기 제공 디바이스는, 연결 모드에서 보다 슬립 모드에서 전력을 덜 이용하는,
전자 증기 제공 디바이스. - 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 컴퓨터는, 상기 증기화기가 상기 배터리 어셈블리에 연결되어 있는지 여부를 결정하기 위해 미리결정된 슬립 시간 이후에 슬립 모드로부터 어웨이크하도록 구성되는,

상기 컴퓨터는, 상기 증기화기가 상기 배터리 어셈블리에 연결되지 않았다면 슬립 모드에 재-진입하도록 구성되는,
전자 증기 제공 디바이스. - 제 5 항 또는 제 6 항에 있어서,
상기 컴퓨터는, 상기 증기화기가 연결되지 않은 경우 연속적인 슬립 모드들에 진입하는 것 사이의 시간이 슬립 시간 미만이 되도록 구성되는,
전자 증기 제공 디바이스. - 제 5 항, 제 6 항 또는 제 7 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 슬립 시간은 0.5초 내지 5초 사이의 값을 갖는,
전자 증기 제공 디바이스. - 제 1 항 내지 제 8 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 배터리 어셈블리는 커패시터를 더 포함하고,
상기 컴퓨터는, 상기 커패시터를 먼저 충전한 후, 상기 커패시터가 방전되었는지 여부를 측정함으로써 상기 증기화기가 상기 배터리 어셈블리에 연결되어 있는지 여부를 검출하도록 구성되는,
전자 증기 제공 디바이스. - 제 9 항에 있어서,
상기 컴퓨터는, 상기 커패시터가 실질적으로 완전하게 방전되지 않은 경우 상기 증기화기가 상기 배터리 어셈블리에 연결되어 있지 않다고 결정하거나, 또는 상기 커패시터가 실질적으로 완전하게 방전된 경우 상기 증기화기가 상기 배터리 어셈블리에 연결되어 있다고 결정하도록 구성되는,
전자 증기 제공 디바이스. - 제 9 항 또는 제 10 항에 있어서,
상기 배터리 어셈블리는, 제 1 배터리 어셈블리 연결 단자 및 제 2 배터리 어셈블리 연결 단자를 더 포함하고,
상기 증기화기는 제 1 증기화기 연결 단자 및 제 2 증기화기 연결 단자를 포함하여, 상기 제 1 배터리 어셈블리 연결 단자가 제 1 증기화기 연결 단자에 연결되고 그리고 상기 제 2 배터리 어셈블리 연결 단자가 제 2 증기화기 연결 단자에 연결된 경우, 상기 증기화기가 상기 배터리 어셈블리에 연결되며;
상기 커패시터는, 상기 제 1 배터리 어셈블리 연결 단자 및 상기 제 2 배터리 어셈블리 연결 단자와 병렬로 연결되는,
전자 증기 제공 디바이스. - 제 11 항에 있어서,
상기 배터리 어셈블리는, 상기 커패시터와 직렬로 저항기를 더 포함하고;
상기 커패시터 및 상기 저항기는, 상기 제 1 배터리 어셈블리 연결 단자 및 상기 제 2 배터리 어셈블리 연결 단자와 병렬인,
전자 증기 제공 디바이스. - 제 9 항 내지 제 12 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 컴퓨터는 펄스를 전송하도록 구성되고,
상기 커패시터는 상기 펄스의 폭과 동일한 시간 기간 동안 충전되는,
전자 증기 제공 디바이스. - 제 13 항에 있어서,
상기 전자 증기 제공 디바이스는 트랜지스터를 더 포함하고;
상기 펄스는 상기 트랜지스터에 전송되고,
상기 트랜지스터는 상기 펄스의 폭과 동일한 시간 기간 동안 상기 전력 셀로부터의 전류를 상기 커패시터로 개방하는,
전자 증기 제공 디바이스. - 배터리 어셈블리 및 증기화기를 포함하는 전자 흡연 디바이스(electronic smoking device)로서,
상기 배터리 어셈블리는 전력 셀 및 컴퓨터를 포함하고,
상기 증기화기는 상기 배터리 어셈블리에 해체가능하게-부착가능하고;
상기 컴퓨터는, 컴퓨터 프로세서, 메모리 및 입력-출력 수단을 포함하고; 그리고
상기 컴퓨터는, 상기 증기화기가 상기 배터리 어셈블리에 연결되는지 여부를 검출하기 위해 사용하도록 구성되는,
