Abstract
Description
Claims (19)
- 정수, 및/또는 슬러지 및/또는 침전물의 탈수 방법으로서,
a) 불순물을 포함하는, 정제될 물, 및/또는 탈수될 슬러지 및/또는 침전물을 제공하는 단계;
b) 1종 이상의 표면 처리 탄산칼슘을 제공하는 단계로서, 탄산칼슘의 접근 가능한(accessible) 표면적 중 적어도 1%가 1종 이상의 양이온성 중합체를 포함하는 코팅에 의해 피복되는 단계,
c) 1종 이상의 필로규산염(phyllosilicate)을 제공하는 단계, 및
d) 1종 이상의 표면 처리 탄산칼슘, 1종 이상의 필로규산염 및 불순물을 포함하는 복합 재료를 얻기 위해, 단계 a)의 물 및/또는 슬러지 및/또는 침전물을 단계 b)의 1종 이상의 표면 처리 탄산칼슘 및 단계 c)의 1종 이상의 필로규산염과 접촉시키는 단계
를 포함하는 방법. - 제1항에 있어서, 단계 a)의 물 및/또는 슬러지 및/또는 침전물은 공업용 폐수, 음료수, 도시 폐수, 슬러지 예컨대 항만 슬러지, 강 슬러지, 해안 슬러지 또는 소화 슬러지, 양조장 또는 다른 음료 산업에서의 폐수 또는 공정 용수, 제지 산업, 색조(color), 페인트 또는 코팅 산업에서의 폐수 또는 공정 용수, 농업용 폐수, 도축장 폐수, 가죽 산업 폐수 및 제혁 산업(leather tanning industry)으로부터 선택되는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 단계 b)의 1종 이상의 표면 처리 탄산칼슘은 중질 탄산칼슘 및/또는 침강 탄산칼슘 및/또는 표면 개질 탄산칼슘, 바람직하게는 표면 개질 탄산칼슘 또는 중질 탄산칼슘을 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 중질 탄산칼슘(GCC)의 공급원은 대리석, 백악, 방해석, 돌로마이트, 석회암 및 이들의 혼합물로부터 선택되고/되거나, 침강 탄산칼슘(PCC)은 아라고나이트(aragonitic), 바테라이트(vateritic) 및 방해석 광물학 결정형 중 1종 이상으로부터 선택되는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 1종 이상의 표면 처리 탄산칼슘의 코팅은
a) 양전하 밀도가 1 mEq/g 내지 15 mEq/g 범위, 더 바람직하게는 2.5 mEq/g 내지 12.5 mEq/g 범위, 가장 바람직하게는 5 μEq/g 내지 10 mEq/g 범위이며/이거나,
b) 단량체 단위의 적어도 60%, 바람직하게는 적어도 70%, 더 바람직하게는 적어도 80%, 더욱더 바람직하게는 적어도 90%, 가장 바람직하게는 100%와 동일한 비율이 양이온 전하를 가지며/갖거나,
c) 중량 평균 분자량(Mw)이 1,000,000 g/mol 아래, 더 바람직하게는 50,000∼750,000 g/mol, 더욱더 바람직하게는 50,000∼650,000 g/mol, 가장 바람직하게는 100,000∼300,000 g/mol이며/이거나,
d) 디알릴디알킬 암모늄 염; 삼차 및 사차 아민; 사차 이민; 아크릴아미드; 메타크릴아미드; N,N-디메틸 아크릴아미드; 아크릴산; 메타크릴산; 비닐술폰산; 비닐 피롤리돈; 히드록실 에틸 아크릴레이트; 스티렌; 메틸 메타크릴레이트 및 비닐 아세테이트, 바람직하게는 디알릴디알킬 암모늄 염 및 아크릴산으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 단량체 단위를 기초로 한 단독 중합체이거나,
e) 디알릴디알킬 암모늄 염 및 메타크릴산으로부터 선택되는 단량체 단위, 및 아크릴아미드; 메타크릴아미드; N,N-디메틸 아크릴아미드; 아크릴산; 메타크릴산; 비닐술폰산; 비닐 피롤리돈; 히드록실 에틸 아크릴레이트; 스티렌; 메틸 메타크릴레이트; 비닐 아세테이트 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 공단량체 단위, 바람직하게는 디알릴디알킬 암모늄 염 및 메타크릴산으로부터 선택되는 단량체 단위, 및 아크릴아미드 및 아크릴산으로부터 선택되는 공단량체 단위를 기초로 한 공중합체인
1종 이상의 양이온성 중합체를 포함하는 것인 방법. - 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 탄산칼슘의 접근 가능한 표면적 중 적어도 10%, 바람직하게는 접근 가능한 표면적 중 적어도 20%, 더 바람직하게는 접근 가능한 표면적 중 적어도 30%, 더욱더 바람직하게는 적어도 40%, 가장 바람직하게는 적어도 50%가 양이온성 중합체를 포함하는 코팅에 의해 피복되는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 1종 이상의 필로규산염이 벤토나이트(bentonite), 바람직하게는 몬모릴로나이트(montmorillonite)로부터 선택되는 점토 광물, 및 석영, 운모, 카올리나이트(kaolinite), 장석, 황철석, 방해석, 크리스토발라이트(cristobalite) 및 이들의 혼합물을 포함하는 군에서 선택되는 부수 광물을 포함하는 벤토나이트인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 접촉 단계 d)는, 단계 b)의 1종 이상의 표면 처리 탄산칼슘을 단계 a)의 물 및/또는 슬러지 및/또는 침전물에 첨가하기 전 및/또는 동안 및/또는 후에, 단계 c)의 1종 이상의 필로규산염을 단계 a)의 물 및/또는 슬러지 및/또는 침전물에 첨가함으로써 수행되는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 접촉 단계 d)는, 단계 b)의 1종 이상의 표면 처리 탄산칼슘 및 단계 c)의 1종 이상의 필로규산염을 포함하는 혼합물을 단계 a)의 물 및/또는 슬러지 및/또는 침전물에 첨가함으로써 수행되는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 접촉 단계 d)는, 단계 b)의 1종 이상의 표면 처리 탄산칼슘과 단계 c)의 1종 이상의 필로규산염을 단계 a)의 물 및/또는 슬러지 및/또는 침전물에 10:1 내지 1:10, 더 바람직하게는 5:1 내지 1:5, 더욱더 바람직하게는 2:1 내지 1:2의 1종 이상의 표면 처리 탄산칼슘:1종 이상의 필로규산염의 중량비로 첨가함으로써 수행되는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 접촉 단계 d)는, 단계 a)의 처리될 물 및/또는 슬러지 및/또는 침전물의 표면을 단계 b)의 1종 이상의 표면 처리 탄산칼슘과 단계 c)의 1종 이상의 필로규산염으로 적어도 부분적으로 피복하고/하거나, 단계 a)의 처리될 물 및/또는 슬러지 및/또는 침전물을 단계 b)의 1종 이상의 표면 처리 탄산칼슘 및 단계 c)의 1종 이상의 필로규산염과 혼합함으로써 수행되는 것인 방법.
- 정수, 및/또는 슬러지 및/또는 침전물의 탈수를 위한, 필로규산염과 표면 처리 탄산칼슘의 조합의 용도로서, 탄산칼슘의 접근 가능한 표면적 중 적어도 1%가 1종 이상의 양이온성 중합체를 포함하는 코팅에 의해 피복되는 용도.
- 물 및/또는 슬러지 및/또는 침전물 중 중합체 응집 조제의 양을 줄이기 위한, 필로규산염과 표면 처리 탄산칼슘의 조합의 용도로서, 탄산칼슘의 접근 가능한 표면적 중 적어도 1%가 1종 이상의 양이온성 중합체를 포함하는 코팅에 의해 피복되는 용도.
- 제12항 또는 제13항에 있어서, 표면 처리 탄산칼슘은 중질 탄산칼슘 및/또는 침강 탄산칼슘 및/또는 표면 개질 탄산칼슘, 바람직하게는 표면 개질 탄산칼슘 또는 중질 탄산칼슘을 포함하는 것인 용도.
- 제12항 내지 제14항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 표면 처리 탄산칼슘의 코팅은
a) 양전하 밀도가 1 mEq/g 내지 15 mEq/g 범위, 더 바람직하게는 2.5 mEq/g 내지 12.5 mEq/g 범위, 가장 바람직하게는 5 mEq/g 내지 10 mEq/g 범위이며/이거나,
b) 단량체 단위의 적어도 60%, 바람직하게는 적어도 70%, 더 바람직하게는 적어도 80%, 더욱더 바람직하게는 적어도 90%, 가장 바람직하게는 100%와 동일한 비율이 양이온 전하를 가지며/갖거나,

e) 디알릴디알킬 암모늄 염 및 메타크릴산으로부터 선택되는 단량체 단위, 및 아크릴아미드; 메타크릴아미드; N,N-디메틸 아크릴아미드; 아크릴산; 메타크릴산; 비닐술폰산; 비닐 피롤리돈; 히드록실 에틸 아크릴레이트; 스티렌; 메틸 메타크릴레이트; 비닐 아세테이트 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 공단량체 단위, 바람직하게는 디알릴디알킬 암모늄 염 및 메타크릴산으로부터 선택되는 단량체 단위, 및 아크릴아미드 및 아크릴산으로부터 선택되는 공단량체 단위를 기초로 한 공중합체인
