Claims (10)
- 다수의 횡방향 배치 위사 세장체(elongate body)와 섞어 짜여(interwoven) 결합된 다수의 경사 세장체를 포함하는 직조 패브릭(woven fabric)으로서, 상기 경사 세장체 및 위사 세장체는 각각 인성(tenacity)이 적어도 약 14 g/데니어이고 인장 계수(tensile modulus)가 적어도 약 300 g/데니어인 열가소성 고 인성 세장체를 포함하며, 인접 경사 세장체는 경사 세장체 폭의 적어도 약 10%에 상당하는 거리로 서로 이격되고, 인접 위사 세장체는 위사 세장체 폭의 적어도 약 10%에 상당하는 거리로 서로 이격되는 것인 직조 패브릭.
- 제1항에 있어서, 인접 고 인성 경사 세장체는 이들의 가장 가까운 세로 가장자리(longitudinal edge)에서 1 mm 초과로 서로 이격되고, 인접 고 인성 위사 세장체는 이들의 가장 가까운 세로 가장자리에서 1 mm 초과로 서로 이격되는 것인 직조 패브릭.
- 제1항의 패브릭으로부터 형성되는 폐쇄, 용융 시트(closed, fused sheet)로서, 폐쇄, 용융 시트는 인접 고 인성 경사 세장체 사이에 실질적으로 갭(gap)이 없으며, 상기 인접 고 인성 경사 세장체가 겹치지 않고; 인접 고 인성 위사 세장체 사이에 실질적으로 갭이 없으며, 상기 인접 고 인성 위사 세장체가 겹치지 않는 것인 폐쇄, 용융 시트.
- 서로 부착된 제3항의 2개 이상의 용융 시트를 포함하는 방탄성, 폐쇄 다층 물품(ballistic resistant, closed multilayer article).
- 치수 안정성 개방 패브릭(dimensionally stable open fabric)의 형성 방법으로서,
a) 다수의 횡방향 배치 위사 세장체와 섞어 짜여 결합된 다수의 경사 세장체를 포함하는 직조 패브릭을 제공하는 단계로서, 상기 경사 세장체 및 위사 세장체는 각각 인성이 적어도 약 14 g/데니어이고 인장 계수가 적어도 약 300 g/데니어인 열가소성 고 인성 세장체를 포함하며, 인접 경사 세장체는 경사 세장체 폭의 적어도 약 10%에 상당하는 거리로 서로 이격되고, 인접 위사 세장체는 위사 세장체 폭의 적어도 약 10%에 상당하는 거리로 서로 이격되는 것인 단계;
b) 고 인성 경사 세장체 및/또는 고 인성 위사 세장체의 열가소성 중합체를 적어도 부분적으로 용융시키는 단계; 및
c) 고 인성 경사 세장체 및/또는 고 인성 위사 세장체의 용융된 열가소성 중합체를 고화시키는 단계로서, 이에 의해 고 인성 경사 세장체와 고 인성 위사 세장체는 서로 결합되어 치수 안정성 개방 패브릭을 형성하는 것인 단계
