- 난연효율이 우수한 고분자수지용 무기수산화물-실리카하이브리드 복합 난연제의 제조방법에 있어서,
디이소시아네이트와, 아미노기를 포함하는 알콕시실란을 반응시켜 말단에 이소시아네이트기를 포함하는 실란화합물을 제조한 후, 여기에 유기용매, 반응촉매를 투입하고 질소분위기하에서 반응시켜, 우레탄기를 포함하는 알콕시실란 화합물을 제조하는 단계(S100); 및
상기 S100 단계를 거쳐 제조된 알콕시실란 화합물에 테트라에톡시실란, 메틸트리에톡시실란, 물, 유기용매 및 촉매를 투입 및 교반한 후, 무기 수산화물을 투입 및 반응시켜, 실리카 및 우레탄기를 포함하는 실리카 하이브리드 화합물과 무기수산화물이 결합된 화합물을 제조하는 단계(S200);를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 난연효율이 우수한 고분자수지용 무기수산화물-실리카하이브리드 복합 난연제의 제조방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 S100 단계는,
무기 수산화물 100 중량부를 기준으로,
디이소시아네이트 18.5 ~ 37 중량부와, 아미노기를 포함하는 알콕시실란 18.8 ~ 37.6 중량부를 15 ~ 80℃의 온도에서 1 ~ 3시간 반응시켜 말단에 이소시아네이트기를 포함하는 실란화합물을 제조한 후,
여기에 유기용매 2.7 ~ 5.4 중량부, 반응촉매 0.02 ~ 0.04 중량부를 투입하고 질소를 주입하면서 50 ~ 70℃의 온도에서 2 ~ 4시간 반응시켜, 아래 화학식 1과 같은 우레탄기를 포함하는 알콕시실란 화합물을 제조하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 난연효율이 우수한 고분자수지용 무기수산화물-실리카하이브리드 복합 난연제의 제조방법.
(화학식 1)
상기 화학식 1에서 Y는 이소시아네이트와 반응할 수 있는 아미노기, 알콜기 또는 에폭시기의 비공유 전자쌍을 포함하는 화합물을 나타내고, R1은 수소원자를 포함하고 C1~C8의 알킬기 또는 아릴기를 나타내며, R2는 C1~C12의 직쇄 또는 분쇄 알킬기, 지환족 알킬기 또는 방향족 알킬기를 나타내며, R3는 C2~C12의 지방족 알킬기, C6~C15의 지환족 또는 방향족 알킬기를 나타내며, R4는 수소원자를 포함하고 C1~C8의 알킬기 또는 아릴기를 나타낸다.
- 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 S200 단계는,
무기 수산화물 100 중량부를 기준으로,
상기 S100 단계를 거쳐 제조된 알콕시실란 화합물 20 ~ 100 중량부에 테트라에톡시실란 40 ~ 80 중량부, 메틸트리에톡시실란 20 ~ 40 중량부, 물 4 ~ 8 중량부, 유기용매 100 ~ 400 중량부를 투입하고 pH가 3 ~ 4가 되도록 촉매인 염산수용액을 첨가하여 15 ~ 30℃에서 25분 ~ 35분간 교반함으로써 실리카 및 우레탄기를 포함하는 실리카 하이브리드 화합물을 제조한 후,
상기 실리카 하이브리드 화합물 50 ~ 300 중량부에 무기 수산화물 100 중량부를 투입하고 11 ~ 13시간 반응시켜,
실리카 및 우레탄기를 포함하는 실리카 하이브리드 화합물과 무기수산화물이 결합된 아래 화학식 2와 같은 화합물을 제조하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 난연효율이 우수한 고분자수지용 무기수산화물-실리카하이브리드 복합 난연제의 제조방법.

상기 화학식 2에서 M은 알루미늄 또는 마그네슘의 금속을 나타내고, X는 1 이상의 정수이며, R은 C1~C12의 지방족, 지환족 또는 방향족 알킬기를 나타낸다.
- 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 무기 금속수산화물은,
수산화알루미늄 또는 수산화마그네슘을 단독 또는 병용해서 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 난연효율이 우수한 고분자수지용 무기수산화물-실리카하이브리드 복합 난연제의 제조방법.
