Abstract
본 발명의 실시예에 따르면, 둘 이상의 데이터 배선이 하나의 채널을 공유하는 구조를 적용하면서도 액정표시장치에서 스위칭 소자의 개수를 저감하여 비표시영역에서 스위칭 회로가 형성되는 공간을 더 확보할 수 있어 네로우 베젤 구조를 구현하기 용이하다는 효과가 있다.

Claims (10)
- 복수의 게이트 배선과, 복수의 제1 내지 제3 데이터 배선이 교차형성되고, 교차지점에 복수의 화소가 정의된 액정패널;
상기 게이트 배선에 게이트 구동신호를 순차적으로 출력하는 게이트 구동부;
상기 게이트 구동신호에 동기하여, 상기 제1 내지 제3 데이터 배선에 1/3 수평기간씩 데이터 신호를 순차적으로 출력하는 데이터 구동부;
상기 제1 및 제2 데이터 배선과 상기 데이터 구동부의 채널을 교번하여 전기적으로 연결하는 스위칭 회로부; 및
상기 게이트 및 데이터 구동부와, 상기 스위칭 회로부를 제어하는 타이밍 제어부를 포함하고,
상기 채널은, 상기 제3 데이터 배선과 직접 연결되는 액정표시장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 타이밍 제어부는,
상기 스위칭 회로부에 상기 제1 및 제2 데이터 배선과 채널의 연결 및 단선을 각각 제어하는 제1 및 제2 선택신호를 출력하는 먹스 구동부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치. - 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 먹스 구동부는, 2 × 1 멀티플렉서인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치. - 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 스위칭 회로부는,
상기 제1 선택신호에 대응하여 상기 제1 데이터배선과 상기 채널을 연결하는 제1 스위칭 트랜지스터; 및
상기 제2 선택신호에 대응하여 상기 제2 데이터배선과 상기 채널을 연결하는 제2 스위칭 트랜지스터
를 포함하는 액정표시장치. - 제 4 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 및 제2 스위칭 트랜지스터는,
상기 채널과 연결되는 드레인 전극을 공유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치. - 제 4 항 및 제 5 항 중, 선택되는 어느 하나의 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 및 제2 스위칭 트랜지스터는,
상기 액정패널상의 박막트랜지스터 형태로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치. - 복수의 게이트 배선과, 복수의 제1 및 제2 데이터 배선이 교차형성되고, 교차지점에 복수의 화소가 정의된 액정패널;
상기 게이트 배선에 게이트 구동신호를 순차적으로 출력하는 게이트 구동부;
상기 게이트 구동신호에 동기하여, 상기 제1 및 제2 데이터 배선에 1/2 수평기간씩 데이터 신호를 순차적으로 출력하는 데이터 구동부;
상기 제1 데이터 배선과 상기 데이터 구동부의 채널을 교번하여 전기적으로 연결하는 스위칭 회로부; 및
상기 게이트 및 데이터 구동부와, 상기 스위칭 회로부를 제어하는 타이밍 제어부를 포함하고,
상기 채널은 상기 제2 데이터배선과 직접 연결되는 액정표시장치. - 제 7 항에 있어서,
상기 타이밍 제어부는,
상기 스위칭 회로부에 상기 제1 데이터 배선과 채널의 연결 및 단선을 각각 제어하는 선택신호를 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치. - 제 8 항에 있어서,
상기 스위칭 회로부는,
상기 선택신호에 대응하여 상기 제1 데이터배선과 상기 채널을 연결하는 스위칭 트랜지스터를 포함하는 액정표시장치. - 제 9 항에 있어서,
상기 스위칭 트랜지스터는,
상기 액정패널상의 박막트랜지스터 형태로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
