Abstract

본 발명은 다양한 종류의 제품들을 포션(portion) 별로 수용하기 위하여 튜브형 백 형태로 세분되고 분리되는 2층 또는 다층의 얇은 합성수지 박막을 제조하는 방법으로서, 상기 합성수지 박막은 소정의 간격으로 배치되고 백 형태의 용기를 제조하기 위하여 실질적으로 종방향을 가로지르는 용접 이음새를 포함하고 상기 용기는 절단 또는 분리 공정에 의해서 서로 각각 분리되는 방법으로서: a) 사전 결정되는 간격으로 배치되는 박막을 초음파 용접에 의해서 용접하고, 횡방향 용접 시 가공 도구(1)와 대응 도구(2) 사이에는 박막에 따라 달라지는 소정의 간격이 유지되는 단계; 및 b) 초음파 여기 없이 또는 초음파를 적게 여기하여 기계적 분리 공정에 의해 각각의 용접 이음새의 위치에서 상기한 용접되는 튜브형 백들을 개별화하는 단계를 포함하는 방법에 관한 것이다.

Description

초음파 용접 방법에 의해 얇은 합성수지 박막으로 튜브형 백을 제조하는 방법 및 장치{METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MAKING TUBULAR BAGS OF THIN PLASTIC FILMS BY MEANS OF AN ULTRASOUND WELDING PROCESS}
본 발명은 식료품 분야 등에서 다양한 형태의 제품을 수용하기 위해 특히 튜브형 백의 형태로 포션(portion) 별로 세분되고 분리되는 얇은 합성수지 박막을 제조하는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다.
이른바 튜브형 백 포장을 제조 및 충진하기 위해서 한층 또는 다층의 합성수지 박막을 서로 소정의 간격으로 진행 방향을 가로질러 관통적으로 용접하고, 형성된 용접선을 중심으로 분리하여 각각의 튜브형 백들이 서로 분리되도록 한다. 이를 위하여 특히 식품 산업에서는 예를 들어 수직 또는 수형의 튜브형 백 포장 기계에서 지속적으로 튜브형 백 포장의 전체 폭에 걸쳐서 용접되고 PP, PET 또는 복합 합성수지로 형성되는 비교적 얇은 합성수지가 사용된다.
종래 기술에 따르면, 지금가지 비교적 긴 용접선을 형성하기 위하여 상기한 바와 같은 튜브형 백에서는 열을 발생시켜 합성수지 박막을 서로 부분적으로 용접하는 열적 용접 방법이 사용되었다. 그러나 열적 용접 방법의 경우 제품 잔여물이 용접 이음새 사이에 걸릴 수 있다는 위험이 존재한다(도 4 참조). 특히 일반적으로 수직으로 포장되는 샐러드용 양상추 등 가벼워서 잘 쏟아지지 않는 제품의 경우, 제품 잔여물 어느 정도가 용접 이음새 부분에 남아 튜브형 백의 밀폐성을 저해하고 또한 그에 따라 원치 않는 제품 공정의 불량품을 초래할 수 있다. 이를 방지하기 위하여 현재의 열적 튜브형 백 포장 기계에서는 생산 속도가 비교적 낮게 유지되어, 용접 이음새가 생성되지 않아 분리 과정 역시 일어나지 않는 영역으로 제품이 떨어지는 시간이 충분하도록 하고 있다. 이에 따라 종래 기술에서는 생산 속도에 분명한 한계가 있다. 또한 상기한 바와 같은 열적 튜브형 백 포장 기계에서는 용접선과 분리선의 위치 이동으로 인하여 제품 잔여물이 부착될 수 있는 일종의 백(bag)이 형성될 수 있다. 이것은 포장된 제품에 비위생적인 영향을 줄 수 있기 때문에, 불량품을 가능한 한 적게 유지하기 위해서는 가능한 한 피해야 한다.
반면에 본 발명의 과제는 제품을 포션(portion) 별로 수용하기 위해 일종의 튜브형 백의 형태로 얇은 합성수지 박막을 제조하는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로, 공정 속도를 높일 수 있고 용접 이음새의 낮은 밀폐도 내지 용접선의 영역에 달라 붙거나 남는 제품 잔여물들로 인한 불량을 방지할 수 있는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다.
상기한 과제는 청구항 1항에 따른 방법의 단계들 및 청구항 7항에 따른 장치의 특징들에 의해서 달성된다. 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예 및 기타 실시예들은 종속 청구항의 대상이다.
본 발명에 따르면 다양한 종류의 제품들을 포션 별로 수용하기 위하여 튜브형 백 형태로 세분되고 분리되는 2층 또는 다층의 얇은 합성수지 박막을 제조하는 방법이 제공되며, 상기 합성수지 박막은 소정의 간격으로 배치되고 백 형태의 용기를 제조하기 위하여 실질적으로 종방향을 가로지르는 용접 이음새들을 포함하고, 상기 용기는 절단 또는 분리 공정에 의해서 서로 각각 분리된다.
본 발명에 따른 방법의 특징은 아래의 단계이다:
a) 사전 결정되는 간격으로 배치되는 박막을 초음파 용접에 의해서 용접하고, 횡방향 용접 시 가공 도구와 대응 도구 사이에는 박막에 따라 달라지는 소정의 간격을 유지하는 단계; 및
b) 초음파 여기 없이 또는 초음파를 적게 여기하여 기계적 분리 공정에 의해 각각의 용접 이음새의 위치에서 상기 용접된 튜브형 백들을 개별적으로 분리하는 단계.
이에 따라 본 발명은 튜브형 백을 두 단계로 제조하는 방법을 제안한다. 제1 단계에서는 각각의 용접선에 용접 이음새가 초음파 용접 방법을 이용하여 형성되고, 가공 도구와 다수의 그라비어(gravures)는 사전 결정되고 박막에 따라 달라지는 간격으로 서로 떨어져 유지되는 대응되는 대응 도구를 포함한다. 동일한 움직임 내에서 이어지는 제2 단계에서는, 튜브형 백들이 각각 개별화되는데, 다시 말해 분리선들에서 용접 이음새의 영역에서 서로 분리되고, 이때 초음파 여기가 확실히 꺼진다.
그에 따라 상기 제2 단계 b)의 개별화는 초음파 여기 없이 실질적으로 순전히 기계적인 분리 방법으로 수행된다. 이러한 방식으로 제품 잔여물이 각각의 용접 이음새에 걸릴 위험 없이 밀폐된 용접 이음새가 비교적 높은 가공 속도로 형성될 수 있다. 열적 용접과는 달리 초음파 용접 방법에 따르면 매우 얇은 박막 재료들 및 잘 쏟아지지 않은 제품들에서도 비교적 정확한 용접 이음새가 형성된다.
또 다른 실시예에 따른 장치 및 또다른 실시예에 따른 방법에 따르면, 용접 공정 이후, 위험 없이 절단 공정이 수행될 수 있을 정도로 진폭(amplitude)이 많이 감소된다. 즉, 진폭은 완전히 제로(zero)로 돌아가는 것은 아니라, 다시 말해 초음파 발생기가 꺼지는 것이 아니라, 10% 내지 30%의 값으로 감소된다.
이에 따라, 이렇게 제조된 용접 이음새들은 제품의 종류에 상관 없이 용접 영역에서 제품 잔여물이 걸리는 것에 대하여 문제가 없다. 이어지는 순전히 기계적 튜브형 백의 개별화 작업은 두께가 예를 들어 30 ㎛ 인 매우 얇은 합성수지 박막 및 오늘날 이러한 얇은 튜브형 백에서 요구되는 길이인 용접 이음새의 길이가 약 5 cm 내지 수십 cm 인 경우에도 특히 쉽게 수행될 수 있다. 용접의 밀폐성은 매우 확실하게 보장되고 동시에 제품으로 충진되는 튜브형 백들 각각은 쉽게 분리 내지 떼어질 수 있다. 가공 도구와 대응 도구 사이의 상기한 사전 설정되는 최소한의 가공 간격(process gap)은 가공 도구 내지 대응 도구가 초음파 용접 중 손상되지 않기 위하여 보장된다. 도구들에 초음파를 가하지 않거나 적게 가하 기계적 방법에 의한 튜브형 백의 후속 개별화가 수행되므로, 상기 대응 도구와 상기 가공 도구는 서로 더 가까이 접근될 수 있어서 각각의 튜브형 백의 분리가 용접선의 영역에서 절단 모서리에 의해 수행된다.
초음파 용접에 의한 용접에 의해서는 열적 용접과는 달리 용접선에 일종의 물질의 취화(embrittlement)가 발생하는데, 이는 이어지는 튜브형 백의 기계적 분리 작업을 비교적 쉽게 수행하도록 한다. 이때 상기 분리 공정은 상기한 종류의 일반적인 튜브형 백의 일반적인 폭에 해당하는 수치인 예를 들어 수십 cm 의 긴 영역에 걸쳐서 확실하게 보장된다.
본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 따르면 a) 단계 이후 상기 가공 도구는 상기 대응 도구에 더 가까이 접근된다. 용접된 튜브형 백들을 개별화하는 b) 단계에서 초음파에 의한 여기가 더 이상 없기 때문에, 두 도구들은 초음파 용접 시보다 손상 또는 방해의 위험 없이 서로 더 가까이 접근될 수 있다. 이 때문에 매우 쉽게 그리고 동일한 가공 도구와 대응 도구를 이용하여 용접 및 충진된 튜브형 백들을 개별화하기 위한 분리가 수행될 수 있다.
본 발명의 또다른 바람직한 실시예에 따르면 튜브형 백을 분리하는 b) 단계에서는 가공 도구와 대응 도구가 서로 직접적으로 접촉된다. 이때 상기 가공 도구 또는 대응 도구는 적절한 가이드 및 드라이브에 의해서 이동될 수 있다. 또는 두 도구 모두 서로를 향하여 이동될 수 있다. 이 경우, 용접 이음새의 영역에 있는 분리선을 따라 튜브형 백을 분리하는 작업은 상기 두 도구들이 직접적으로 접촉하여 합성박막의 재료 안에 밀고 들어감으로써 수행된다. 이를 위하여 합성박막의 재료 안에 밀고 들어가서 전체 분리선을 따라 확실하게 분리가 이루어지도록 도구들 중 하나는 뭉툭한 칼날 또는 이와 유사한 것을 포함하는 것이 바람직하다.
본 발명의 또다른 바람직한 실시예에 따르면 가공 도구의 초음파 여기의 전원을 켜고 끄는 것을 제어하는 것은 예를 들어 포장 기계의 드라이브의 서보 곡선(servo curve)에 따라 장치 드라이브의 제어에 의해 수행된다. 이에 따라 본 발명에 따른 방법은 기존의 포장 기계에 쉽게 통합될 수 있고 도구들의 초음파 여기의 전원은 포장 기계의 각 가공 단계들에 맞춰 바로 켜지고 꺼진다.
본 발명의 또다른 바람직한 실시예에 따르면 상기 가공도구와 대응 도구는 튜브형 백의 모든 가공 시 지속적으로 같이 이동되고 이때 하기의 세부 단계들이 수행된다:
i) 상기 대응 도구를 상기 가공 도구의 초음파 여기 동안 스프링이 장착되는 간격 블록에 이를 때까지 이동시키고 용접을 수행하는 단계;
ii) 상기 가공 도구의 초음파 여기를 끄고, 상기 간격 블록의 압축 시, 상기 도구의 두 부분 사이에 실질적으로 일정하고 평행한 간격을 유지하는 단계;
iii) 스프링 장착되는 간격 블록의 탄성력을 극복하고 상기 도구의 두 부분을 분리선에서의 분리의 수행을 위하여 함께 이동시키는 단계; 및
iv) 상기 도구의 두 부분을 되돌아오게 하는 단계.
상기한 대략 네 단계의 공정에 의해서 충진된 튜브형 백의 확실한 용접이 보장되고 각각의 튜브형 백의 분리와 관련하여 정확한 결과도 달성될 수 있다. 상기에서 기술한 네 단계의 방법에 의해서, 비교적 쉽게 구성할 수 있는 장치에 의해서, 초음파 용접 시 도구 부분들 사이에 확실하고 일정한 간격이 보장된다. 이때 간격 블록의 탄성력은 이어서 장치의 드라이브에 의해서 계속해서 극복될 수 있고 동일한 도구 부분들, 즉 상기 가공 도구 및 상기 대응 도구에 의해서 바로 용접 영역에서 분리선에 대한 분리가 수행될 수 있도록 설정된다.
이에 대하여 본 발명의 또다른 실시예에 따르면 스프링 장착되는 간격 블록이 구비되는 것이 아니라, 상기 가공도구와 상기 대응 도구는 용접 시 초음파에 의해서 특수한 제어를 통해 서로 소정의 간격으로 유지된다. 이때 대응 도구는 탄성에 의해서 기계 구조와 결합될 수 있다. 가공 도구는 대응 도구 쪽으로 이동되는데, 박막에 따라 달라지는 대응 도구와 가공 도구 사이의 소정의 간격 내지 갭이 설정되도록 이동된다. 이때 초음파 여기는 가공 도구를 대응 도구 쪽으로 이동시키기 전에 이미 전원이 켜져서, 초음파가 여기되는 상태에서 가공 도구가 용접될 박막 쪽으로 들어간다. 초음파 여기가 중지된 후 가공 도구와 대응 도구가 계속해서 서로를 향해 접근 이동하면서 그리고 높은 압축력으로 서로 가압되면서 분리 공정이 개시된다. 그러면 상기 마지막 단계에 의해서, 용접 이음새 부분의 이전의 취화로 인해 초음파 용접으로 쉽게 수행될 수 있는 기계적 분리 공정이 실시된다. 따라서 이러한 대안적인 실시예에서는 스프링 장착된 특수한 간격 블록이 본 발명에 따른 방법을 실시하는데 필요하지 않다.
본 발명은 또한 청구항 7항의 특징들에 따른, 다양한 종류의 제품을 포션(portion) 별로 수용하기 위하여 튜브형 백의 형태로 세분되고 분리되는 얇은 합성수지 박막을 제조하는 장치에 관한 것으로서, 드라이브 및 가이드에 의해서 서로에 대하여 함께 이동될 수 있는 가공 도구와 대응 도구를 여기시키는 초음파 발생기 및 용접된 튜브형 백을 분리하는 수단을 포함하는 장치이고, 상기 가공 도구와 상기 대응 도구는 초음파 용접 및 초음파 여기 없이 또는 적은 양의 초음파로써 수행되는 실질적으로 순전히 기계적인 분리 공정을 위해서 특수하게 조정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치이다. 이러한 방식으로 동일한 장치 및 도구들을 이용하여 고밀도이고 정밀한 용접 이음새가 비교적 얇은 합성박막에 그리고 제품의 종류에 상관 없이 수십 센티미터의 길이로 형성될 수 있고 그 후 - 초음파 여기가 꺼진 이후 - 위와 같이 형성된 튜브형 백의 기계적인 분리가 수행될 수 있다. 이때 상기 가공 도구와 상기 대응 도구는 초음파에 의해서 최적의 용접이 가능하도록 형성된다. 이를 위하여 상기 가공 도구는 전면 쪽으로 약간 테이퍼링되는 소노트로우드(sonotrode)를 포함할 수 있고, 상기 대응 도구는 모서리를 포함하는 것이 바람직하다. 두 도구들을 합성수지 박막의 재료에 같이 이동시킴으로써 용접된 튜브형 백들은 비교적 쉽게 잔여물 없이 서로 분리될 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 장치의 바람직한 일 실시예에 따르면, 초음파 용접 중 최소 0.05 mm 의 소정의 가공 간격이 유지되는 것을 보장하는 간격 요소를 포함하는 드라이브 및/또는 가이드가 구비될 수 있다. 상기 간격 요소는 예를 들어 본 발명에 대한 바람직한 측면에 따르면 스프링이 장착된 간격 블록으로서 가이드 요소에 형성될 수 있다. 상기 간격 블록은, 상기 간격 블록에 부딪힐 때 소정의 최소 가공 간격이, 가공 도구가 초음파에 의해 여기될 때에도 유지되도록 스프링이 장착될 수 있다. 초음파 여기가 꺼지자 마자 두 도구들은 계속해서 서로를 향하여 이동될 수 있고 예를 들어 서로 직접적으로 접촉될 수도 있어서, 취화된 용접선이 깔끔하게 기계적 방식으로 분리될 수 있게 된다. 또는 기타 다른 간격 요소가 최소의 가공 간격의 유지를 위하여 구비될 수도 있다.
스프링 장착된 간격 블록의 형태로 구비될 수 있는 상기한 간격 요소 대신 본 발명에 따른 장치는 위와 같은 간격 요소 또는 간격 블록을 구비하지 않을 수도 있다: 이 경우, 초음파에 의한 용접에 사용되고 용접 대상인 박막들의 종류와 두께에 따라 달라지는 간격으로 가공 도구와 대응 도구가 서로 이동될 수 있도록 특수한 제어가 실시된다. 상기 장치를 특수한 간격 요소 없이 구현하는 경우, 구조와 구성이 단순화되고 특수 부품이 적게 필요하다는 장점이 있다.
본 발명의 또 다른 바람직한 실시예에 따르면 상기 대응 도구는 평평한 전면을 포함하고 상기 가공 도구는 대략 삼각형 형태인 칼날의 일종을 포함한다. 특히, 상기 칼날의 각도는 초음파 용접에 의해 결합되는 얇은 합성수지 박막들의 분리를 위하여 가장 바람직한 각도로 밝혀진 164°일 수 있다.
본 발명의 기타 장점, 특징 및 측면은 일 실시예에 대한 하기의 상세한 설명을 참조하여 더욱 분명하게 개시되며, 첨부하는 도면들을 참조하여 설명되고 도면들은 아래와 같다:

도 1 내지 도 3은 포션 별로 제품을 수용하기 위하여 튜브형 백 형태로 세분되고 분리되는 얇은 합성수지 박막을 제조하는 장치의 일 실시예를 다양한 도면으로 도시한다. 도 1에는 장치(10)에서 가공 도구(1)가 개방된 상부 위치에 위치하는 단면도가 도시된다. 도 3은 가공 도구가 마찬가지로 개방된 상태에서의 상응하는 사시도를 도시하고, 반면 도 2는 가공 도구(1)와 대응 도구(2)가 초음파에 의한 용접을 위해서 그리고/또는 위와 같이 제조된 튜브형 백의 분리 공정을 수행하기 위하여 서로를 향하여 이동되는 상태의 단면도이다.
상기한 실시예는 수직으로 작동하는 장치에 관한 것으로, 용도에 따라 본 발명에 따른 방법과 본 발명에 따른 장치는 수평적인 시스템으로 형성될 수도 있다. 상기 장치(10)는 실질적으로 상면에 대응 도구(2)가 탈착 가능하게 장착되어 필요할 경우 대응 도구(2)를 교체할 수 있는 기본 플레이트(7)로 구성된다. 상기 기본 플레이트(7)의 상면에는, 상기 상면에 구비되는 가공 도구(1)를 대응 도구(2) 쪽으로 이동시키고 다시 그로부터 멀리 이동시킬 수 있기 위하여 네 개의 가이드(5)에 의해서 상기 기본 플레이트(7)에 수직으로 이동 가능하게 결합되는 장착 플레이트(8)가 구비된다(도 1 및 도 2 참조).
상기 장치(10)는 얇은 합성수지 박막의 초음파 용접의 수행 및 초음파 용접에 의해 형성된 튜브형 백들의 분리를 위하여 특수 조정되었는데, 이에 대하여 상세히 후술한다. 상기 장착 플레이트(8)의 상면에는 상기 가공 도구(1)의 초음파 여기가 야기될 수 있도록 가공 도구(1)에 연결되는 초음파 발생기(4)가 장착된다. 다수의 초음파 발생기(4)가 상기 장착 플레이트(8)에 장착될 수도 있다. 상기 가공 도구(1)는, 상기 초음파 발생기(4)와 함께, 스프링 장착된 네 개의 간격 블록(3)에 의해 상기 장착 플레이트(8)에 장착된다. 용접의 실시 및 용접된 튜브형 백들의 분리를 위하여, 상기 장착 플레이트(8)는 가이드(5)에 의해서 상기 기본 플레이트(7)의 아래쪽인 상기 대응 도구(2) 쪽으로 이동하되, 스프링 장착되는 간격 블록들(3)이 하면(기본 플레이트(7)의 면)의 상응하는 대응 요소들에 접촉될 때까지 이동된다. 이때 상기 스프링 장착되는 간격 블록(3)은 가공 도구(1)가 초음파에 의해서 여기되는 동안 가공 도구(1)와 대응 도구(2) 사이에서 최소한의 사전 결정되는 가공 간격이 유지되는 것을 보장한다. 본 발명의 바람직한 측면에 따르면 최소 가공 간격은 최소 0.05 mm 이다. 이에 따라 예를 들어 30 ㎛ 범위의 두께인 매우 얇은 합성수지 박막이 상기 장치(10)에 의해서 초음파로 용접될 수 있다. 더 두꺼운 합성수지 박막이 상기 장치(10)로 용접되는 경우, 그에 따라 가공 간격은 더 크게 선택될 수 있다.
초음파에 의한 용접을 실시한 후, 상기 장치(10)는 상기 스프링 장착된 간격 블록들(3)의 탄성력을 극복하면서 가공 도구(1)가 계속해서 대응 도구(2) 쪽으로 이동되도록 구동된다. 상기 두 도구들(1, 2)의 계속되는 이동에 의해서, 제조된 튜브형 백들의 분리가 수행된다. 초음파 용접에 의해서 합성수지 박막(6)의 용접선에 일정한 취화가 발생하기 때문에 이러한 방식으로 위와 같이 제조된 튜브형 백들의 관통적인 분리가 각각의 제품들을 그 안에 포함한 상태로 실시될 수 있다.
이때 개별적으로 용접되는 튜브형 백들의 분리 내지 절단의 실시는 용접선에 바로 수행될 수 있다.
분리 이후 가공 도구 및 초음파 발생기(4)는 다시 위쪽으로 이동되어, 두 도구들(1, 2) 사이에 위치하는 합성수지 박막 내지 합성수지 박막 튜브들이 튜브형 백 포장의 크기게 맞게 계속해서 이동되고 새로운 과정이 반복되도록, 다시 말해서 초음파 용접의 제1 단계 및 순전히 기계적인 분리 단계인 제2 단계로 반복되도록 이동된다.
도 3을 참조하면, 가공 도구(1)와 대응 도구(2)는 얇은 합성수지 박막으로부터 상대적으로 폭이 넓은, 바람직하게는 수십 센티미터의 크기의 튜브형 백이 가공될 수 있도록 종방향의 지지대 형태를 가진다. 본 실시예의 경우, 초음파 발생기(4)에 의한 가공 도구(1)의 초음파 여기가 드라이브(도면에 미도시)의 제어에 의해 수행되도록 상기 장치(10)의 제어부가 구비된다. 예를 들어 장치(10)의 드라이브의 서보 곡선을 참고하여 초음파를 켜고 끄는 것이 목적에 따라 제어될 수 있고, 그에 따라 용접이 실시되고 가공 도구가 목적에 따라 사전에 결정되는 대응 도구와의 간격으로 유지되는 경우에만 초음파 여기가 실시될 수 있다. 이러한 방식으로 두 도구들, 즉, 가공 도구(1)와 대응 도구(2)의 손상이 확실하게 방지될 수 있다. 이러한 방식으로 본 발명에 따른 방법은 단지 조금만 변형하여 기존의 장치들(10)에 쉽게 통합될 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 방법의 실시는 상기한 장치(10) 또는 기타 다른 방식으로 제작된 포장 기계에 의해서 구현될 수 있고, 두 도구들을 지속적으로 함께 이동시키면서 4 단계의 공정으로 수행되는 것이 바람직하며, 이때 하기의 세부 단계들이 실시된다:
i) 상기 가공 도구(1)의 초음파 여기 동안, 상기 대응 도구(2)를 스프링이 장착된 간격 블록(3)에 이를 때까지 이동시키고 용접을 수행하는 단계;
ii) 상기 가공 도구(1)의 초음파 여기를 끄고, 상기 간격 블록(3)의 압축 시, 상기 도구의 두 부분 사이에 실질적으로 일정하고 평행한 간격을 유지하는 단계;
iii) 스프링 장착된 간격 블록(3)의 탄성력을 극복하고 상기 도구의 두 부분을 분리선에서의 분리의 수행을 위하여 함께 이동시키는 단계
iv) 도구의 두 부분들(1, 2)을 되돌아 오게 하고 바람직하게는 가공 도구(1)의 초음파 여기를 새로 구동하는 단계.
상기한, 네 단계를 포함하는 목적에 따른 두 단계로 구성된 방법에 의하여 발명자가 실시한 실험들에서는 매우 얇은 합성수지 박막이 완료제조된 튜브형 백의 밀폐성, 보기 좋은 외관 및 위생 및 불량품의 감소 측면에서 매우 좋은 결과를 가지고 달성될 수 있었다. 초음파 방법에 의해서 제조되는 용접 이음새는 용접선의 영역에 제품 잔여물이 있을 수 있는 경우에도 안정적이다. 분리선은 제품 잔여물이 모일 수 있는 원치 않는 백을 형성하는 일 없이 상기 용접 이음새에 한 줄로 배치될 수 있다. 본 발명에 따른 방법 및 본 발명에 따른 장치(10)에 의해서 제조 공정시 확실히 더 높은 클락 주파수로 제품으로 충진된 튜브형 백이 획득될 수 있었다. 이에 의해서 포장 공정의 효율이 확실히 증대될 수 있었다. 또한, 본 발명에 따른 방법 및 본 발명에 따른 장치(10)는 비교적 쉽게 기존의 포장 설비에 통합될 수 있다. 이러한 방식으로 적절한 장치의 부품을 본 발명에 따른 방법의 실시를 통해서 추후 장착할 수 있다.
도 4의 개략적인 측면도는 종래 기술로 구현되는 튜브형 백 포장의 문제점을 도시한다: 이 종단면은 제품(18)으로 충진되고 이어서 세 개의 용접 이음새(16)로 폐쇄된 튜브형 백(15)을 도시한다. 분리 이후에 상부의 용접 이음새(16)와 분리선(17) 사이에는 제품(18)의 잔여물(19)이 남는 일종의 주머니(20)가 형성된다. 이 문제점은 본 발명에서 효과적으로 방지된다.
도 5는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른, 가공 도구(1)와 대응 도구(2) 사이의 합성수지 박막(6)의 중첩 영역을 포함하는 튜브형 백(15)의 개략적인 단면도를 도시한다. 상면에 중첩되어 포개어지는 합성수지 박막(6)은 상기 박막(6)이 가공 도구(1)와 대응 도구(2)에 의해서 용접되어, 즉 초음파 용접 방법에 의해서 용접됨으로써 본 발명에 따른 장치에 의해서 폐쇄 상태의 튜브형 백(15)으로 형성된다. 이어서 도구들(1, 2)은 계속해서 서로를 향하여 이동되고 상기 튜브형 백(15)은 칼날 모서리(14)를 포함하는 칼날(12)에 의해서 기계적으로 분리된다. 본 실시예에서 상기 칼날(12)은 하부에 구비되는 가공 도구(1)에 장착된다. 그러나 상기 도구들(1, 2)은 거꾸로 배치될 수도 있다. 도구들은 수직적으로가 아니라 수평적으로 이동할 수도 있다.
도 6a 내지 도 6c는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 튜브형 백 포장의 가공의 다양한 단계를 도시한다. 본 실시예에 따르면, 제품으로 충진되는 튜브형 백으로 가공될 합성수지 박막(6)은 대응 도구(2)와 가공 도구(1) 사이에 수직으로 삽입된다. 상기 가공 도구(1)는 - 또는 대응 도구(1) - 스프링 장착된 간격 블록(미도시)에 부딪힐 때까지 박막 쪽으로 이동된다(도 6a의 왼쪽 방향). 이러한 상태는 도 6b에 도시되어 있다. 이 단계에서 초음파 용접 공정에 의한 본 발명에 따른 용접이 실시되는데, 이 시점에서 상기 두 도구들(1, 2)은 아직 서로 접촉하지 않는다. 상기 가공 도구(1)와 대응 도구(2) 사이에는 박막의 종류의 두께에 따라 사전 결정되는 간격이 형성된다. 다음 단계(도 6c 참조)에서 상기 가공 도구(1)는 스프링 장착된 간격 블록들의 탄성력을 극복하면서 계속해서 왼쪽으로 이동된다. 상기 두 도구들(1, 2)이 함께 이동되고 대략 삼각형 형태이고 칼날 포인트(14)를 가지는 칼날(12)이 박막(6)의 재료 안에 들어감으로써, 원하는 분리선에서 튜브형 백이 분리된다.
물론 상기 가공 도구(1)와 대응 도구(2)의 형태는 아래의 청구항에 정의된 본 발명의 범위를 벗어나지 않고 달라질 수 있다. 또한 상기 장치(10)는 변형될 수 있고 예를 들어 수평으로 작용하는 장치로 구성될 수도 있다. 초음파 용접 시 상기 가공 도구(1)와 대응 도구(2) 사이의 가공 간격을 최소한으로 유지하는 것은 스프링 장착된 간격 블록(3)을 이용하는 방식 외에 다른 방식으로 달성될 수도 있는데, 예를 들어 드라이브의 목적에 따른 구동에 의해서 내지 장치(10)의 가이드들에 의해서 달성될 수 있다. 합성수지 박막들은 전적으로 합성수지 박막으로 형성되거나 또는 혼합 재료로 형성될 수도 있다. 이에 따라 본 발명에 따르면 알루미늄을 함유하는 합성수지로 형성된 박막이 매우 잘 용접되고 분리될 수 있다.

Claims (10)

  1. 다양한 종류의 제품들을 포션(portion) 별로 수용하기 위하여 튜브형 백 형태로 세분되고 분리되는 2층 또는 다층의 얇은 합성수지 박막(6)을 제조하는 방법으로, 상기 합성수지 박막은 소정의 간격으로 배치되고 백 형태의 용기를 제조하기 위하여 실질적으로 종방향을 가로지르는 용접 이음새들을 포함하고, 상기 용기는 절단 또는 분리 공정에 의해서 서로 각각 분리되고, 상기 방법은:
    a) 기결정된 간격으로 배치된 박막을 초음파 용접에 의해서 용접하는 단계로, 용접 시에 가공 도구(1)와 대응 도구(2) 사이에는 박막에 따라 소정의 간격이 유지되는 단계; 및
    b) 초음파 여기 없이 또는 초음파를 적게 여기하여 기계적 분리 공정에 의해 각각의 용접 이음새의 위치에서 용접된 튜브형 백들을 개별화하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 가공 도구(1)는 a) 단계 이후 상기 대응 도구(2)에 더 가까이 이동되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항 중 한 항에 있어서,
    상기 b) 단계에서 상기 가공 도구(1)와 상기 대응 도구(2)는 튜브형 백을 분리하기 위하여 접촉하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
    상기 가공 도구(1)의 초음파 여기의 제어는 기계 드라이브의 제어에 따라 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
    상기 가공 도구(1)와 상기 대응 도구(2)는 각각의 가공 단계에서 지속적으로 함께 이동되고 동시에 하기의 세부단계들이 실시되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법:
    i) 상기 가공 도구(1)의 초음파 여기 동안, 상기 대응 도구(2)를 스프링이 장착된 간격 블록(3)에 도달할 때까지 이동시키고 용접을 수행하는 단계;
    ii) 상기 가공 도구(1)의 초음파 여기를 끄고, 상기 간격 블록(3)의 압축 시, 상기 도구의 두 부분 사이에 실질적으로 일정하고 평행한 간격을 유지하는 단계;
    iii) 스프링 장착된 간격 블록(3)의 탄성력을 극복하고 분리선에서의 분리의 수행을 위하여 상기 도구의 두 부분을 함께 이동시키는 단계; 및
    iv) 상기 도구의 두 부분(1, 2)을 되돌아오게 하는 단계.
  6. 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
    용접하는 단계 a)에서 최소한의 그리고 박막에 따라 가공 간격이 유지되고, 초음파 여기 동안 상기 가공 도구(1)와 상기 대응 도구(2)는 상기 가공 간격으로 서로 떨어져서 유지되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 다양한 종류의 제품을 포션(portion) 별로 수용하기 위하여 튜브형 백의 형태로 세분되고 분리되는 2층 또는 다층의 얇은 합성수지 박막(6)을 제조하는 장치(10)로, 특히 청구항 1항 내지 6항에 따른 방법을 실시하기 위한 장치로서,
    드라이브 및 가이드(5)에 의해서 서로에 대하여 함께 이동될 수 있는 가공 도구(1)와 대응 도구(2)를 여기시키는 하나 또는 복수 개의 초음파 발생기(4); 및
    용접된 튜브형 백을 분리하는 수단
    을 포함하고,
    상기 가공 도구(1)와 상기 대응 도구(2)는 초음파 용접 및 초음파 여기 없이 또는 적은 양의 초음파로써 수행되는 실질적으로 순전히 기계적 분리 공정을 위해서 특수하게 조정되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 장치(10).
  8. 제7항에 있어서,
    상기 드라이브 및/또는 가이드(5)는 초음파 용접 시 박막에 따라 소정의 가공 간격의 유지를 보장하는 간격 요소를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  9. 제7항 또는 제8항에 있어서,
    용접 시 상기 가공 도구(1)와 상기 대응 도구(2) 사이에 박막에 따라 최소한의 가공 간격이 유지되도록 스프링 장착된 간격 블록(3)이 구비되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  10. 제7항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
    상기 대응 도구(2)는 평평한 전면(11)을 포함하고, 상기 가공 도구(1)는 대략적으로 삼각형 형태이고 특히 뭉툭한 형태의 칼날(12)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
