Abstract
Description
도 1은 LTE 시스템 아키텍처의 예시적인 일반적 네트워크 아키텍처를 도시한다.
도 2는 GERAN 시스템으로부터 LTE 시스템으로의 예시적인 제1 단계 핸드오프 절차를 도시한다.
도 3은 GERAN 시스템으로부터 LTE 시스템으로의 예시적인 제2 단계 핸드오프 절차를 도시한다.
도 4는 GPRS/GERAN 시스템으로부터 LTE 시스템으로의 예시적인 제3 단계 핸드오프 절차를 도시한다.
도 5는 무선 송수신 유닛 및 기지국의 기능 블럭도를 도시한다.
도 6a 내지 도 6c는 핸드오프 절차의 예시적인 신호 다이어그램을 도시한다.
도 7a 내지 도 7c는 대안적인 핸드오프 절차의 예시적인 신호 다이어그램을 도시한다.
Claims (3)
- 집적 회로(IC, integrated circuit)에 있어서,
LTE(long term evolution) 셀들에 대한 측정을 수행하고, 범용 패킷 무선 서비스(GPRS, general packet radio service) GERAN(global system for mobile communication radio access network) 기지국으로 측정 보고를 송신하도록 구성되는 회로를 포함하고,
상기 회로는 또한 상기 GERAN 기지국에 의해 송신된 핸드오버 커맨드 - 상기 핸드오버 커맨드는 LTE 셀에 대한 무선 자원 구성 및 타겟 셀 정보를 포함함 - 를 수신하도록 구성되며,
상기 회로는 또한 상기 핸드오버 커맨드에 응답해서 상기 LTE 셀과의 접속을 구축하도록 구성되는 것인, 집적 회로. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 회로는 또한 첨부 신호(attach signal)를 eNB(evolved Node B)로 송신하도록 구성되며,
상기 회로는 또한 핸드오버 완료 메시지를 상기 GERAN 기지국으로 송신하도록 구성된 것인, 집적 회로. - 제2항에 있어서, 상기 회로는 또한 상기 eNB로부터 LTE 서비스들을 수신하도록 구성된 것인, 집적 회로.
